Create a gorgeous, handmade keepsake with our Angel Pottery Workshop!
This lovely, simple workshop is designed for all skill levels. You’ll learn slab-building techniques to craft the angel's body, using handy templates and cutters to shape detailed wings that you can customise with your own textures and patterns. Next, we will use simple modelling techniques to sculpt the head, hair, and halo, with time to add extra personal touches like a sweet necklace or festive details.
For those more experienced potters joining us, you also have the option to take it a step further and add some arms if you'd like.
If you'd like your angel to light up, you're also able to pierce some decorative holes into the dress so a little light can shine through!
Choose from a selection of lovely colours for the wings and hair of your angel.
Important Note on Size & Weight
Because these angels are made from pottery, they have a nice, substantial feel standing 18-20cm tall. Due to their weight, they may not be suitable for the very top of your Christmas tree, but they make stunning statement decorations for a mantelpiece, shelf, table setting, or windowsill!
Because your pottery needs time to dry, be fired, and be glazed, you won’t be able to take your angel home on the day. Once everything is finished, I will bring your pieces back to the venue for you to collect at your convenience approximately 3 to 4 weeks later.
