About
After creating Pottery HOMES house portraits for over 10 years in my home based studio in rural Derbyshire, I am now enjoying sharing my love of clay with others. I have discovered holding small workshops for local people is very rewarding and social - after being in my studio for years! So why not join me for a relaxed and hopefully fun class to learn a new skill and make friends!

Creative Clay Club - 5 WEEK COURSE - Starts Monday 22 Januray
Wow - Another New Venue...
...and this one is truly a place with a difference! Nestled in a gorgeous part of the countryside, Nuroosa at Tower Farm in Weston on Trent makes for the ultimate proper Sunday day out. Bring your friends along for a wonderful change of scenery: spend the session making a gorgeous ceramic butter dish that will look super stylish in your kitchen, followed by an absolutely fabulous vegetarian Sunday lunch. Come and make a day of it!

Wee Willie Winkie Candlestick Holders
Friday 23rd October, 2-5pm

This is a lovely, simple, and beginner-friendly workshop. Because you'll be making two candlestick holders, it's a fantastic introductory class - you'll get to practice the process twice to build your confidence and skills
Christmas Gonk
Tuesday 3rd November, 6-9pm

Come along and create your very own magical pottery gonk! Inspired by Scandinavian folklore, these charming characters are designed to hold a tea light so they light up from within!
Angel

In this full day workshop we'll use terracotta clay to make a gingerbread house and then decorate it with coloured glazes to represent the icing!
Christmas Tree Luminaria
Saturday 17th October, 2-5pm @ Straight Curves, Chesterfield

In this workshop, you'll learn to make a beautiful, light-up ceramic Christmas tree (or a grouping of up to three). It's the perfect way to add a cozy, glowing touch to your room.
Gingerbread House
Friday 27th November, 10am-3pm

Custom Ceramic Butter Dish & Lunch!
New Venue - Sunday 29th November, 9:30am-3pm
@ Nuroosa, Weston on Trent
Use slab-building techniques to construct a two-part butter dish designed to perfectly for your very own kitchen. Note this workshop also includes: welcome pastries and hot drinks, a seasonal two-course lunch by Cherry Pickle Catering, with wine and take home a bunch of homegrown eucalyptus for your festive displays!!!
Creative Clay Sessions
Starts Monday 22nd January @ Straight Curves, Chesterfield.
Take your pottery further and bring your own independent projects to life in this flexible 5-week course, running on Mondays for 2.5 hours a session.
