Enchanting Fairy House Pottery Workshop

Join me for a magical workshop where we will craft these delightful fairy house garden ornaments. Hand-built from durable stoneware clay, your creation will be completely weatherproof, allowing it to stay in your garden through all the seasons—though they look just as charming kept inside the home!

During the session, we will use slab-building techniques to create a cylinder for the body of the house, which we will then "belly out" to create a beautiful shape. For the roof, we will cut and join individual clay petals to form a whimsical canopy. Finally, you can personalise your house by adding doors, windows, flowers, butterflies, or any decorative details you like.

You are welcome to follow my example or let your imagination run wild with your own unique ideas!

On the day you will have a choice of vibrant colours for the roof petals to truly bring your house to life. However please note that you will not take your creations home on the day. They will be fired and returned to the venue in 2-3 weeks ready for collection.

This workshop is perfect for everyone, from absolute beginners to experienced potters. While primarily designed for adults, young enthusiasts aged 10 and over are very welcome to attend, provided they can maintain focus for the three-hour session.

We will, of course, take a short break halfway through to recharge our creative batteries!
