Bear Hug Pot - A Family-Friendly Air-Dry Pottery Workshop
I'm excited to offer a workshop designed for families to explore the magic of clay together! This workshop uses air-dry clay that means you can create your masterpieces and take them home the very same day! There are several dates for this workshop in the school holidays.

My Bear Hug Pot is an adorable bear with outstretched arms, ready to hold your pens, brushes, jewellery, or even a small plant. I'll guide you step-by-step, starting with a basic pinch pot and building up with coils to create the bear's form. We'll then add cuddly arms, ears, and a sweet face.
This is a perfect beginner's class, suitable for adults and children aged 7 and up. I'll demonstrate each stage clearly and provide hands-on help and advice throughout the workshop, ensuring everyone feels confident and creative.
Once your bear is complete, you'll take it home to dry and transform it with your own personal touch. Unleash your inner artist with acrylic paints – whether you envision a cuddly polar bear, a majestic grizzly, or a playful panda, the choice is yours! You can use paints you already have, get recommendations from me, or purchase a set to take home on the day.

This is a 2 hour workshop for anyone aged 7 and over. Refreshments are provided, along with all the materials and equipment needed on the day. Please note that paints are not included.
