go48sx & go48gx


HP48SX emulator for android.
  • 32 K internal RAM.
  • 128K card in slot 1 & 2 (can be merged).
  • Automatic save and load of state.
  • Load and save objects to/from stack level 1 (Objects are loaded and saved from/to '/sdcard/go48sx/files').
  • on kitkat device, import/export directory is now /Android/data/o2s.emul.hp48sx/files/... instead of /go48sx/... on the sdcard. 
  • Speed from x1 up to x25.
  • Clock synced with android.
  • HP82240 printer.
HP48GX emulator for android.
  • 128 K internal RAM.
  • 128 K card in slot 1 (can be merged).
  • 256 K card in slot 2 (gives port 2 & 3).
  • Automatic save and load of state.
  • Load and save objects to/from stack level 1 (Objects are loaded and saved from/to '/sdcard/go48gx/files').
  • on kitkat device, import/export directory is now /Android/data/o2s.emul.hp48gx/files/... instead of /go48gx/... on the sdcard. 
  • Speed from x1 up to x1.
  • Clock synced with android.

Timers emulated (clock and ticks are ok)

First release:
  • sound not supported.
  • no grayscale support.
  • should work with at least 600x480 screen.

See www.hpcalc.org/ for programs. Be carefull between S and G version of programs.

If the calculator locks while printing (especially at high x speed), just turn OFF the printer, go back to calculator, press ON to get prompt back, you can bo back to the printer to turn it ON again.

If calculator locks due to a program, use first 'Action/Soft reset', use of 'Action/Hard reset' can leads to memory lost

With games, stay at x 1 or x2 speed, if a keyboard lock happens try in this order:

ACTION/SOFT RESET
- 'BACK android key', 'app manager preferences, force kill app', relaunch
- ACTION/HARD RESET
In last ressort, use 'setting/applications/manage applications/go48xx/{force stop & clear data}' from your android device.
