Vikings Conquer in Round Whidbey

On May 7th and 8th, the four Vikings set out for the time honored 'Round Whidbey race. Conditions for the 65+nm race were poor and wet, just right for these battle harden crews. The San Juan 24s dominated their fleet and caught up with the fast boats even after a 5 minute separation in fleet starts. Vikings victoriously took 4 of the 5 top spots in a fleet of 13! Less than 6 minutes separated 1st through 3rd place.
