Standard Courses

Standard courses share common start and finish lines.

Starting Line

The line is parallel to the marina breakwater (E dock) and begins at the small white buoy, herein referred to as "White A", on the outer edge of the marina main entrance. This line ends at the furthermost small white buoy, herein referred to as "White B", at the opposite end of the breakwater.

Finish Line

The official finish is accomplished when a boat takes White A to port. In the event that two racers reach the mark within three boat lengths, the lead boat must make room for the approach of other vessel. In this instance the finish shall be the first bow to cross the line made by extending the start line past White A.
