Son Of Odin Vanquishes ALL at PITCH!

All hail the Dread Pirate Shannon Buys and his Rock Star Crew! Bellingham and Seattle sailors alike now dread the mighty Oak Harbor Vikings, as well they should. Not only did Capt' Shannon conquer the SJ 24 Class, handing a whooping to our honorable Wookie brethren, but he emerged victorious overall for PITCH- the entire regatta! Accolades to Dave Klingbeil and the crew of Merlin for taking 2nd and to Dave Steckman and Team Renaissance for taking 3rd. With competition this tough, all should have received gold for their accomplishments.

An outstanding time was had by all, and new alliances were forged with our brothers to the north (Hail Team Merlin and Team Ibis) and to the south (Hail Team Wiki Wiki). All SJ 24 captains and crew sailed admirably.

The Wookies smelted down some of their plundered gold, applied their exceedingly fine craftmanship, and created The Goldenhead- a trophy of immeasurable worth and splendor. It shall be awarded each year to the winning club at PITCH- beginning with Capt' Buys. May the competition keep us ever-strong!
