Hope Island State Park is a 200-acre marine park in Skagit Bay. The park offers several campsites, attractive beaches and a trail across the island. The island is forested with occasional meadows and rock outcroppings.
As envisioned by Erik Mann, this would make a fine overnight camping trip for the entire family, especially considering the proximity of Cornet Bay.
The park offers a number of campsites for a fee. More information about the park can be found on the Washington State Parks site by clicking HERE.
