The following is the `prayer for Saint Finnbarr's Day' (27th September) from the Aberdeen Breviary,

O GOD, Who chose Thy glorious servant FINNBARR from out
of his mother's womb, and by the ministration of angels raised
him up to the rank of the priesthood: grant that we, who are
bowed down by the burden of our guilt, may by his merits be
raised up to the path of virtue. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord.
