Simply put, this fallacy occurs when a person either can't or won't "get it" and, therefore, refuses to believe what the opponent is arguing.

Example: I don't understand what the first paragraph of the "String Theory" Wikipedia page means; therefore, String Theory is wrong.

Example: Because I don't understand how airplanes can fly, they obviously can't fly.
