Martin Sanders explains that in a global pandemic like the one everyone is fighting now, every little bit helps. From useful information to proper preparation for keeping one's immunity up, people need to equip themselves with all the necessary tools to survive. And since the COVID-19 pandemic does not seem to be ending anytime soon, Martin Sanders mentions the need for mental fortitude.

Having a strong mind or at least the regular conditioning of one's mind can be of great value in a time like this for so many reasons, according to Martin Sanders. For starters, a sound mind can keep a person from making rash decisions, which can be costly during a global health crisis. Good mental well-being can help people see things clearer and act accordingly. One of the more important effects of having a strong mind is that it leads to having a strong body. Take hypochondriacs, for example. To these people, a common cold or a cough brought about by allergy could be symptoms of COVID-19, or a simple headache could be something so much worse like a brain tumor or an aneurysm. While it is okay to stay on the safe side, medical doctors and mental health experts have advised on steering clear of obsessing on fatalistic or nihilistic thoughts. These actions can be as deadly to their bodies as the actual illnesses they fear – and may even lead to other serious problems such as depression, says Martin Sanders.
