Transformerless 220VAC to 12VDC 30mA Power supply

For future projects i want to make cheap and easy transformerless 12VDC power supply from the main 220 AC power line.
Just to drive a LED or very low power circuit. around 30ma to 40 ma should be enough.
Researching and lab trying i came out with the following schematic:

Capacitor 474KF 250V x1
Resistor 820K Ω 1/4W x1
Diode 1N4001 or equivalent x4
Capacitor 10μf 25V x1
It's not regulated and probably still dirty output but easy to make, cheap and enough to drive a LED.
