Zoom Presentation with Justin McKinney
Thursday, October 8, 2026
7:30 pm
Justin, McKinney has written an intriguing book, The Shortstop Was a Crook, about the life and career of one Billy Geer. Geer played was a 19th century player who intermittently played in the majors for several teams between 1874-1885. His life off the field was certainly more compelling that his on-field accomplishments. Justin will share Geer's story with us on October 8th via Zoom.
Craig Brown will send a link to the Zoom Presentation to chapter members on the afternoon of the 8th. If you'd like to participate but aren't a member of the Magnolia Chapter, email Craig Thursday afternoon for the link....
