PE 9 Curriculum Highlights

PE 9

In our PE 9 class which meets 5 out of 8 days studnets will be introduced to two main units. Ropes Course Instruction and Fitness Development.

Course Intentions

Students while in the Ropes Course segment of the class will:

1. Demonstrate the ability to accomplish

personal challenges on the ropes

course.

2. Understand the importance of safety

and climbing procedures

during ropes course instruction.

3. Develop a respect for the

environment

4. Develop healthy mental, emotional,

and physical decisions through

outdoor adventure activities.

Students while in the Fitness Development segment of the class will:

1. Learn safe and challenging fitness workouts.

2. Fitness Planning.

3. Cardiovascular Workouts.

4. Yoga and Pilates.
