We have three concerts this Month. Please attend in large numbers, encourage the artists and enjoy the concerts.

Dvita Vivek (Vocal)

Dvita Vivek is a freshman at Irvington High School. Dvita is a disciple of Sri. Hari Devanath of Paduka Academy and has been learning vocal carnatic music for the past 7 years. She has performed for various Bay Area organizations, such as CCC, Rasamanjari etc. and won prizes at competitions, namely Saptami and Bay Area Kala Utsavam. Dvita is part of her school choir and plays competitive badminton.

Smriti Swaminathan (Veena)

Smriti Swaminathan is a junior at Dougherty Valley High School. Smriti has been disciple of Sri. Srikanth Chary for the past 8 years and also learns carnatic vocal from Smt. Kasthuri Shivakumar. Smriti is a junior at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon.  She has performed and accompanied for various Bay Area organizations, such as SRFA, Lotus Bay Area, SIFA, and CCC and has also won prizes at several competitions, namely Papanasam Sivan, SaMaa, and Gayatri FIne Arts.

Kishore lakshmanan (Mridangam)

Kishore is a Junior at Irvington High School, Fremont. Kishore Lakshmanan is learning Mridangam from Guru Shri Gopi Lakshminarayanan. He has accompanied for various music schools in the Bay Area. He is also is learning vocal from Guru Shri Kolkatta Vijayaraghavan. Kishore has participated and won prizes in Cleveland Aradhana, Papanasam Sivan and Saptami competitions.

Shruthi Suresh (Vocal)

Shruthi is an 8th grader at John Horner Middle School, Fremont. She has been learning Carnatic vocal from Shri Hari Devanath and Shri Vivek Sundaraman of Sri Paduka Academy for the past 7 years. She enjoys painting, debate, badminton and traveling.

Rathika Balaji (Violin)

Rathika is a 9th grader at Homestead High, Cupertino. She has been learning violin from Padmasri A. Kanyakumari since 2021. She was initiated into violin by her father Shri Mahesh Balaji. Rathika also learns vocal music from Shri K Chandrasekaran. Besides music, Rathika enjoys participating in her school plays and drama musicals. 

Akshay Suresh (Mridangam)

Akshay is a Senior at Washington High, Fremont. He learns mridangam from Sri. Gopi Lakshminarayanan of Sharada school of Tala Vadya. Akshay also learns Carnatic vocal from Sri. Shivakumar Bhatt of International Academy of Indian Music. Akshay has won prizes in Cleveland Thyagarja Aradhana, Papasam Sivan and OSAAT competitions. He regularly accompanies at various Bay Area events. Akshay enjoys basketball, swimming and creating videos. 

Pranav Satyadeep (Vocal)

Pranav Satyadeep is currently undergoing vocal training from Shri Niranjan Krishna. Pranav has also learnt carnatic vocal music for several years from Shri Hari Devanath of Sri Paduka Academy. In addition, Pranav has had the opportunity to learn carnatic violin from Shri Aravind Lakshmikanthan for many years. Over the years, Pranav has had the privilege of being part of several performances and competitions held at local organizations and temples in the bayarea. 

Pranav is a senior at Lynbrook high School in San Jose, CA.

Sanika Pande (Veena)

Sanika Pande is a budding young musician in the field of Carnatic music . She is a senior at Saint Francis high school . She learns Veena from Guru Srikanth Chary for the past 10 years . She has participated in several prestigious veena competitions and have won awards. She is continuing  to give several Veena concerts  and also accompanying  other artists in the Bay Area. She is also a vocalist and learns vocal music from Smt. Vasudha Ravi and has given several vocal concerts in USA and in India. She also plays keyboard and given performances .

Niranjan Ravichandran (Mridangam)

Niranjan Ravichandran has been learning Mridangam for 8 years under Guru Shri. Natarajan Srinivasan at Nandi Laya Vidyalaya.

He completed his Arangetram in May 2023, with guidance and mentorship from his Guru Shri Natarajan Srinivasan and Paramaguru Shri. S.V.Ramani.  In his Arangetram concert, he accompanied Smt. Vasudha Ravi,  Shri. Ragavendra Rao and Shri. Ramani.

Niranjan is a freshman at Heritage High School in Brentwood. He has been a regular performer at various Bay Area venues including SIFA, Lotus, SR Fine Arts, Rasamanjari, TVMC, OSAAT, YSTCA and others.

In his free time, he enjoys listening to Carnatic and Western Classical Music, doing debates and mock trials at his school, and playing badminton with his friends.
