Venkatesh Iyengar (Vocal)
Venkatesh Iyengar started learning carnatic music in high school under Smt T.S.Vasundhara. In the last 8 years he has resumed learning in the bay area under the able guidance of Smt Shakuntala Murthy, Sri P.V.Natarjan and Sri T.N.Bala (Philadelphia), and has just joined the NetLearning program under the esteemed guru Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan. This is his second concert - his first concert was in Hulikal, India last year.

Vinay Raghuram (Violin)
Vinay Raghuram, 17, a junior at Monta Vista High school in Cupertino, started learning carnatic violin from Dr. Susheela Narasimhan from 2004. His journey in carnatic music started with vocal in 2002 and is currently learning from his aunt Vidhushi Usha Char of Washington DC. He has given several individual full length vocal concerts and accompanied on violin in US and India at venues like Nadatarangini at Washington DC, Swara Lahari community TV, Lotus events and chamber concerts in the bay area, Ayyanar College for Music, and Balaji Sangeetha Vidyalaya in Bangalore, India.

Chinmai Raman (Mridangam)
Chinmai Raman is a disciple of Shri. Thiruvarur Bakthavatsalam. He has been learning mridangam from a young age and came under the guidance of Shri. Bakthavatsalam four years ago. Chinmai has accompanied several talented young students from various music schools and other artists in the Bay Area. He has performed in Swaralahari and Stanford radio. Chinmai learns vocal music from Shri. Hari Devanath. He will be a junior at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, this fall.

Hari Devanath (Vocal)
Hari Devanath was born into a family of music enthusiasts. Having been initiated into Carnatic music by his grandmother Smt Komala Parthasarathy, he was groomed into the traditional and rich paadaantharam of Neyveli Sri Santhanagopalan. As a junior artiste and an amateur, Hari has performed in established sabhas such as Bharath Kalachar and Mylapore Fine Arts Club in Chennai. He has given vocal concerts at many music festivals in the mid-west and the bay area.
In addition to being a full-time Apps Engineer at Xilinx, Hari passionately teaches children and adults in the bay area through Sri Paduka Academy which he founded and Neyveli Sir inaugurated in 2002 in Colorado. Hari also works with a fun group of Jazz and Western musicians composing and rendering experimental fusion music. Samples at www.myspace.com/khriya.

Dr. Saravanapriyan Sriraman (Violin) Saravanapriyan learnt violin initially from Smt. Komalavalli Srinivasan and Sri. Tiruvarur Balasubramaniam and later under veteran Sri. Tirupparkkadal S. Veeraghavan. He is currently a disciple of Lalgudi Sri G. J. R. Krishnan.
Saravanapriyan has accompanied several visiting artists such as Sri Udayaalur Kalyanaraman, Sri Sikkil Gurucharan, Sri T. V. Gopalakrishnan, Sri. Neyveli Santanagopalan, Smt. Manda Sudharani and several leading artists residing in USA. He has also presented many solo concerts in the Bay Area, New Jersey, Santa Barbara, and India. He has given lecture-demonstrations in the UC-Santa Barbara Ethnomusicology program and has served as arbitrator for CMANA music competitions. In addition, he has featured in the Live Oaks Music Festival and has performed together with violin virtuoso Gilles Apap. Saravanapriyan has been actively teaching Carnatic music for the last 9 years.

Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan(Mridangam)
Ravi hails from a family deeply involved in Music and Spirituality for decades. He had his mrudangam initiation under Sri M.A.Krishnamurthy in Mysore in 1980. He then continued to learn under Sri M.K.Venugopal, in Bangalore. In the bay area he received training under Sri Shriram Brahmanandam. Currently he is furthering his knowledge under Sri Neyveli Narayanan, a prime disciple of both Sri Late Thanjavur Upendran and Sri Umayalpuram K Sivaraman. Ravi continues to accompany various leading musicians from India such as Sri Shankara Nambodari, Smt.Srimathi Brahmanandam, Prof. T.V.Gopalakrishnan, his Mother Smt.Ranganayaki Sridharan, Sri Vidhyabhushana, Sri Ashok Ramani etc. In the Bay Area, he continues to accompany leading musicians for dance and regular concerts, including fund raisers. He has also been running a percussion school – Nadhopasana Academy of Fine Arts where he enjoys teaching this great art to selective students. Ravi owes a lot to his parents for instilling passion and encouraging him in this great art, and to his family, for a wonderful support to pursue his passion.
