Dear Patrons,

Happy New Year and a Happy Makara Sankranti to all of you. May this year be the year we return to normalcy with live audience concerts.

We have two concerts planned for this month. Please plan to join and encourage the artists. It will premiere on our Youtube channel.

Srihari Srinivasan (Mridangam)

Arya Srinivasan ( Vocal)

Arya Srinivasan has been learning Carnatic Music from her mother Smt. Preetha Sheshadri. She also receives guidance from her grandmother Smt. Kalyani Seshadri. Additionally, Arya learns Carnatic violin from Ms. Sruti Sarathy. Arya also learns Bharatanatyam from her mother. She has participated in many Bay Area music and dance events. Arya is a sophomore at Cupertino High School. Apart from this, Arya is part of her high school debate team. In her free time, Arya enjoys reading and doing art. She also enjoys listening and dancing to hip hop music.


Ranjana Rajagopalan (Violin)

Ranjana Rajagopalan is a vocal and violin disciple of Smt. Lavanya Kothandaraman. She has also had the opportunity to learn from Violinist Vidwan Sri. R. K. Shriramkumar on multiple occasions. Ranjana has participated and performed a vocal and violin solo and provided violin accompaniment at Bay Area's Margazhi Utsavam held annually at Fremont by Smt. Sudha and Sri. Chandrasekaran. She has provided violin accompaniment for the 2.5 hour concert recital of the Sustaining Sampradaya concert in 2019 at Cleveland Aradhana, and provided violin accompaniment to a few Bay Area students for their recitals. She is 15 years old and is a Junior at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA.

Besides music, Ranjana likes to work on craft and painting projects with her mother and sister, watch NBA games with her father, discuss novels and bake goodies with her sister, entertain her little brother and play board games with her family.


Raghav S Iyer (Mridangam)

Raghav S Iyer is a student of Nandi Laya Vidyalaya and has been learning mridangam under the tutelage of Guru Shri. Natarajan Srinivasan for the past 5 years. He also learns vocal music from Smt. Preetha Sheshadri. He has accompanied several events in the Bay Area. Apart from this he learns vedas from his grandfather Shri S. Hariharan. He is a sophomore at Portola High School, Irvine and enjoys Wrestling.

Srihari Srinivasan (Mridangam)

Srihari has been learning Mridangam from Sri Trivandrum V. Balaji, disciple of Padma Shri Palghat Raghu for 6 years. He initially learned Mridangam from Sri Ramesh Srinivasan, disciple of Vellore Ramabhadran.

In 2019, Srihari participated in SRGMPDN youth festival at Washington DC and iCarnatic in Detroit, Michigan. With the blessings of his guru, Srihari has accompanied Kalaimamani Vidushi Gayathri Girish and Kalaimamani Vidwan R Suryaprakash in the 2019 December Margazhi Season. Srihari has received the Trivandrum R Vaidyanathan award from Neelakanta Sivan Academy and 1st prize in Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival.
