The Old Age Pension (OAP) program provides financial assistance and may provide medical benefits for low-income adults age 60 or older who meet basic eligibility requirements. This assistance comes through the county. If you qualify for SSI/SSA, then you need to do that first.

Some refugees can receive SSI for the first 7 years of being in the USA. After that they would need to become US citizens to keep receiving it.

Home Care Allowance (HCA) provides a financial allowance that must be used to purchase specific chore, personal care, and support services.

CSFP provides basic food assistance to elderly people. CSFP also includes the WIC program.

The Aid To The Needy Disabled (AND) program provides a small cash assistance benefit to low-income Colorado residents age 18 – 59 who have at least a six-month total disability that precludes them from working.
