Crafts in demo style at A$S pavilion or in front of your own tent

Meetings of special interest groups (Costumers, Archery Guild, Brewers, Blue Feather, etc)

Classes

A&S. Usually very cheap (cost of materials), Usually hands on.

Sometimes for Ithra credit. Get a packet, sometimes sampler by end.

Volunteering. How to marshal, constabulary, chiurgeonate.

New person focused: How to camp, how to

Appreciation classes: Fighting for spectators, equestrian for spectators

Fighting Classes Usually require own equipment.

Bardic

Sort of take turns in a circle. Often many have songbooks out.

Sometimes dominated by a few, when they tire others fill in. Sing, tell stories, juggle, etc.

Mostly participatory. Sing alongs. Response songs.

Also performance pieces. (Sometime blurry line here.)

Dancing (social)

Usually announced.

Live or taped music.

Meet new people and talk to your friends.

Games.

Board games (also card games). Play anytime sitting for a period of time.

Many common. Mancala, Chess, Tablero, most often seen.

Active Games. Independent or organized by event. Mongolian football, Norse stickball,

blind-man’s-bluff, version of tag, etc.
