Abstract
“ The above said quote rightly describes the definition of today’s ‘empower’ women. Nowadays women are equal with men in every field. The industrialization and modernization process changes the structure of the family from joint family to nuclear family. Similarly both the process pushes the women to go for work and the working women are facing lot of problems in the family life as well as in the working environment. The present study conducted 100 women who are working in the B.Ed. colleges of Surat city. The results show that the working women are facing lot of problems in their daily life.
1.0 Introduction
Women constitute a significant part of the work-force in India. The work participation rate continues to be substantially less for females than for males. There has been some improvement in the work participation rate of female since 1971. Work participation rate for women, which was 7.18% and 9.74% in urban areas in 1971 and 1991 respectively went up in 2001. In the rural areas the female work participation rate has shown steady improvement since 1971 as compared to urban areas. It has risen from 27.20 in 1991 to 30.98 in 2001.
Among rural women workers, 87% are employed in agriculture as laborers and cultivators. Amongst women workers in urban areas, about 80% are employed in household industries, construction, teaching, etc. In this, 21st century, women are considered as the good home maker and also managing the work environment of the today world due to change in our life style, it is inevitable that woman has to go for work to economically balance her family even after her marriage. Due to this, women have to face lot of sociological and psychological problems in and outside her family. Especially in Indian context this problem is the most recent one which requires more attentions and solutions.
In the present day of our modern society, the process of industrialization and urbanization is increasing in our society. At the same time social problems also are increasing in our society. The problems faced by woman due to her work environment pressure, work load directly affects her family life. This is one of the important problems of working woman to balance between family life and work life. The present study is mainly focusing on the problems faced by the working women.
2.0 Statement of the Problems
Therefore, the Researcher has selected the subject

3.0 Objectives of the study
The objectives of the research study have been decided as follows:
1. To study the problems of women working in the B.Ed. college to rural and urban area.
2. To study the problems of women working in the B.Ed. college related to higher classes and backward classes.
3. To study the problems of educated and highly educated women working in the B.Ed. college.
4. To study the problems of married and unmarried women working in the B.Ed. college.
4.0 HYPOTHESIS
On the basis of objectives following hypothesis were fixed
Ho1 There shall be significant or no difference in average marks obtained in the study between the urban and rural women.
Ho2 There shall be significant or no difference in average marks obtained in the study of working women in B.Ed. college from higher and backward classes.
Ho3 There shall be significant or no difference in average marks obtained for the women less educated and highly educated working in the B.Ed. college.
Ho4 There shall be significant or no difference in average marks obtained for the married and unmarried working women in the B.Ed. college.
Ho5 There shall be significant or no difference in average marks obtained for the women highly experienced and less experienced working in the B.Ed. college.
Ho6 There shall be significant or no difference in average marks obtained for the women having high and low economic status in the B.Ed. college.
5 LIMITATION OF THE STUDY
1. The study of present research paper is kept completely limited to Surat City
2. The study of present paper is kept limited to the women of selected B.Ed. college.
6 Research Methodology
In the present research survey method has been adopted for the study and analysis.
6.1 Tool: For the study of problems under reference following tools were utilized.
6.1.1 For the purpose of study of the problems of women one questionnaire was prepared.
6.2 Sample:
For the study of problems of working women in the B.Ed. college 100 women were selected applying random sample method and got filled by them.
6.3 Variable:
For the present research study following variable were adopted.
6.3.1 Dependent variable:
In the study following dependent variables were adopted.
6.3.1.1 The problem of working women in Education in the Surat District.
6.3.2 Independent variable:
In the present study following independent variables were adopted
6.3.2.1 Area – Rural and Urban area.
6.3.2.2 Cast – Higher Casts and Lower Cast citatory.
6.3.2.3 Education – Highly Educated and Low Educated.
6.3.2.4 Married Situation – Married and Unmarried.
6.3.2.5 Experience – Highly Experienced and Less Experienced.
7 METHODS FOR DATA COLLECTION
For the data collection of present study problem questionnaire was got filled.
8 Method of Statistics & Analysis
For the purpose of getting numerical result ‘t’ test was adopted in the present study.
Ho:1 There shall be no insignificant difference between the women of rural and urban areas.

The Significance of Problems of Rural and Urban Educated Women
For significance the value comes to 0.05 1.96 classes. For this table the T value is 0.15 which is not significant. Therefore, the Ho:1 is acceptable. Which means there seems to be no significance in the problems or rural and urban women. It means the problems of urban and rural women are similar. The problems of women of urban area are more in comparison to the women of rural area.
Ho:2 There shall be no insignificant difference between the women of rural and urban areas of Surat city.

The Significance of Problems of Backward and Higher Classes Women
Significance T Value is 0.05 Classes 1.96 the T Value 0.05 drawn from this table 1.2 which is not significant.
Therefore hypothesis Ho:2 is acceptable i.e. there is no significance different in the average marks obtained in the study of the problems of women working in the B.Ed. college in the Surat City belonging to backward classes and higher classes. The problems of women of higher classes and backward classes are identical. The problems of women belonging to higher classes are more.
Ho:3 There shall be no difference between the less educated and highly educated women working in the B.Ed. college in Surat city.

The significant T value is 0.05 classes 1.96 classes. The T value obtained from this Table 1.3 is which is not significant.
Therefore hypothesis Ho:3 is acceptable i.e. there is no significant different in the average marks obtained in the study of the problems of highly and less educated women working in the B.Ed. college in the Surat City. The problems of highly educated and less educated women are identical.
Therefore it can be said that the problems of highly educated women and less educated women working in the B.Ed. college in the Surat city are identical. The problems of highly educated women are more than the women educated less.
Ho:4 There shall be no difference between the married and unmarried women working in the B.Ed. college in Surat city.

The significant T value is 0.05 classes 1.96 and 0.01 classes 2.58. The T value obtained from this Table 1.4.
Therefore hypothesis Ho:4 is acceptable i.e. there is no significant different in the average marks obtained in the study of the problems of married and unmarried women working in the B.Ed. college in Surat city. The problems of married and unmarried women are identical.
Therefore it can be said that the problems of married and unmarried women working in the B.Ed. college in the Surat city are identical. The problems of unmarried women are more than the married women.
9 The conclusion of the Research Study:
After collecting data and application of statistics and the data analysis following results were drawn:
1. The problems faced by educated working women in urban as well as rural area are similar.
2. Women belonging to backward classes and higher classes working at B.Ed. colleges are facing similar work issues.
3. Both educated and highly educated women, have problems in common.
4. Women together married or unmarried, working at B.Ed. colleges are facing similar problems.
5. Educated and less educated women, working at B.Ed. colleges have similar problems.
10 The Utility of the Research Study:
1. The urban educated women particularly who are working in the B.Ed. college have to face more problems that rural women.
2. Out of the women working in education from backward and general classes, the women from general class have to face more problems. They have to face more problems in adjustment.
3. The high educated women have to face more problems in comparison to low educated women working in field of education.
4. The married women have to face more problem than unmarried women working in the B.Ed. college. They have more problems of adjustment.
5. After carrying out the Research Study of the problems of women working in the B.Ed. college we reached on the important conclusion that out of the women less experienced and more experienced the less experienced women have to face more problems.
11 Suggestions :
The Research Scholar recommended following suggestions for the problems as a result after carrying out deep study:
1. To reduce the problems of educated women working in the field of education in Urban area, the educated women should be provided more facilities for multi functional activities so that they could easily be adopted.
2. The women from backward classes have to face more problems than from general classes, because they have to face competition on every stage, they have to give more time to their houses, families and children, they have to adjust among society, therefore, they should be given more opportunities.
3. The educated women have to participate in many activities in the society, therefore, the educated women have to work more and participate more in the external activities, therefore, they should be given some facilities and the members of their families should have behave with more sympathy.
4. The married women have to face more problems; therefore, the family members should assist them and solve their problems in time. The ordinary family members should also help them.
5. The less experienced women have to face more problems than more experienced women, therefore, they should be given training separately and the more experienced women should help them in solving their problems.
