Years of brutal civil war in Liberia claimed more than 250,000 lives and left the country in ruins. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Samaritan’s Purse is helping hurting families establish a renewable food source and generate a small income by developing fish farms. The ponds provide food for malnourished children and help lift entire communities out of poverty when the fish are sold in local markets. For as little as $50, Samaritan’s Purse can help stock a pond with 500 fish or shrimp.
