Some essential information for the Fit Outfit.

From Los Banos to 99, take Herndon exit to Pinedale, Clovis, Route 168. There has been a lot of development in that area and some of the roads have been changed. On 168 to Prather, the Ranger Station is on the right up a hill, well signposted. Prather has a nice market if you need supplies for lunch. In Shaver Lake keep left on 168 to Huntington Lake. (Map attached) Past the lake and the SoEd power installations, the paved road disappears, cross Kaiser Pass and about 10 miles in you'll come to a wide, poorly signposted (two years ago) junction. Take the right road. Just before the lake take the road to the left (there used to be a sign) to Jackass Meadow. (Sketch attached)

Cheers

Steve
