Citywide Priorities

2019-20 CEP Goals

In alignment with District 24 goals,

Goal 1: Students with an IEP will improve performance levels on the NYS Math Exam by six percentage points.

Goal 2: Multilingual Learners' will improve performance levels on the NYS ELA Exam by eight percentage points.

Goal 3: The number of students who are chronically absent will be reduced by five percentage points.


We will continue to use the following to achieve our goals:

Strengthen our instructional core through our school-wide instructional focus on building academic language in all content areas

Strengthen our instructional core through teacher teams/inquiry cycles that serve to strengthen pedagogy and improve content learning

Strengthen our instructional core through observation feedback/coaching/inter-visitations

Know all students well through small group instruction/scaffolds based on teacher assessments/observations

Know our students well through the use of tier 2 and 3 responses and interventions based on observations/assessment results

Know our students well through the use of progress monitoring tools/assessments/technology

Ensure the use of a shared and inclusive curriculum through horizontal and vertical review and planning
