Comparing Numbers -- Qualitative and Quantitative.

This is the REVISED 2nd lecture of Intro Stats. First lecture is a general introduction to Principles of Islamic Education and does not deal with statistics. THUS this is the FIRST lecture to introduce Statistical concepts. The original first lecture dealt the Paasche and Laspayres index, and was found to be too difficult for first time students. As a result, the lecture has been thoroughly revised, to make it simpler.

OLD VERSION OF LECTURE : Lec 2 Indexing Facts and Fiction -- covers similar material but is more complex because it goes into a detailed explanation of Paasche and Laspayres Index. Beginning students of statistics cannot handle this level of complexity, experience shows.

6. Come to Class with above 5 items done, to be prepared for classroom discussion/activity.
