QUANTITATIVE FOUNDATION FOR ECONOMETRICS (ETS-620)

This is homepage for Quantitative Foundations for Econometrics Course at Pakistan Institute of Development Economics starting Fall 2016.

Philosophy of the course is the LEARNING IS BY DOING. Accordingly, the students are EXPECTED to do a lot of work between classes.

The schedule below lists student activities in sequence as: PIDE L01C -- this stands for Pakistan Institute of Development Economics Learning Unit 01 in Class. The dates given are APPROXIMATE, not actual dates. They are meant to provide the correct SEQUENCE in which student should work.

The sequence of activities ALTERNATES between in-Class activites and at-Home activities. Students should come prepared to class after having done their at-Home activities. There will be a QUIZ at the start of EVERY CLASS to assess that students have done their at-Home activities. This quiz will be graded and the scores will be included in the PIDE Class Score
