Introductory Statistics: Self-Paced Course
This is an online self paced course. You will be guided step by step through all the processes needed to complete the course successfully here. The sequencing of the steps is according to dates used in an earlier version. For a self paced course, JUST FOLLOW THE SEQUENCE OF STEPS in the order determined by the dates.
In order to take quizzes associated with lectures, do the following:
Go to Quizstar website
sign up as student and register yourself. after registration search the course with key word "asad zaman" or even "zaman" will also works. The course is listed as: Intro Stats: SELF PACED -- you can find it by searching for these words also.
once you find the course " Intro Stats: Self Paced" go to class and start Quiz
10th February: First Introductory Lecture delivered in A.R. Kemal Room, PIDE from 9:00 to 10:30AM. This lecture was recorded, and can be heard from following link.
Students should register to follow the Introduction to Statistic BLOG for the course.: . The first post on this blog provides instructions on how to take the course. General questions can be posted as COMMENTS on the blog by any student. Specific questions will be handled by UZMA AWAN who is the teaching assistant for this course. You can email her at: uzma.economist@gmail.com for any issues -- especially for re-taking failed quizzes. (50% and above is passing on each quiz). To get certificate for course, you must pass all quizzes.
