Valhalla Station (T1) System: Kuiper
The center of life in Kuiper is the ancient and massive Valhalla Station - which serves as the main trading hub and a kind of religious center of life for the local miners and traders. While aboard the station the Rule of Concordia is in effect, and clan violence is forbidden. Of course, this rule doesn't preclude taking a visiting rube for all that they are worth...
Since Kuiper is a necessary way-point for Fortuna to expand into other systems, it has become a central hot-spot for growing competition between Fortuna and Charon. After the events of the Incidental Wars (where Fortuna forcibly evicted 'non-recognized' miners trading exclusively with Charon) the system has been officially designated a Free Port; meaning that anyone and anybody can trade there without restriction. In practice, this means that the system and by default Valhalla Station has become THE center for illegal dealings in the cluster. Anything, and possibly anyone, can be bought and sold there.
Vahalla is not without it's comforts. You can unwind with a drink, a dance, and a (paid) date at Club Ukiyo, or enjoy a hot bath and treatment at Antinous Bathhouse - just be careful about who you make eye contact with there.
First time visitors to Valhalla are reminded to keep their money, bioroids, servants and basically anything else worth stealing close at hand. But for those looking to buy or sell exotic goods, or perhaps just looking for a quiet spot away from the eyes of authority, there is nowhere else to be.
