Makes 12 DateOs
Use a food processor to rough chop
1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 cup blend of 6 Brazil (for Selenium) nuts, 6 walnut halves (for Omega-3) and fill in with the rest with Sunflower seeds (for vit E)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Add in 1/2 cup of pitted dates, turn on food processor once again to coarsely chop these into the above mixture. Now add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract while blending. Then slowly add water to make mixture just stick together (be careful to no add too much...1 tsp of water at a time).
Dump out on a clean surface and flatten to distribute some raisins (a couple of Tbsp) to be incorporated into the DateOs. Pinch off enough to make one inch diameter balls when rolled in your palms.
Set these aside for 2 hours to let the ingredients hydrate and enjoy.
