The best book for longevity with vitality is "Beyond The 120 Year Diet" by Dr. Roy Walford. In my opinion all diet recommendations are evolving toward Dr. Walford's recommendation for CRON.
Dr. Roy Walford's protégée Dr. Valter Longo wrote a subsequent book "The Longevity Diet" that attempts to mimic the Calorie Restriction with Optimal Nutrition (CRON) program by D. Walford. The phrase promoted is "Fasting Mimicking Diet."
