Speed up Windows
Most Windows computers end up with too many processes running in the background which slows down the computer.
To speed up the computer:
Go to Start > Run >
Type msconfig > Enter
Select the Service tab > check the Hide All Microsoft Services check box >
Select Disable All > then re-enable only the anti-malware, automatic backup, and VPN (if you use VPN).
Select the Startup tab > click Disable All > then re-enable only the anti-malware, automatic backup, and VPN (if you use VPN).

Also, if you are a home user, install Windows Security Essentials (free for home users and small businesses up to 10 PCs).

Before installing Windows Security Essentials remove all other anti-malware software.
