Explain Agreements
Regular course is 7 weeks.
We are doing a personal design challenge and it takes more time, so we will go for 10 weeks. We may need a full day at some point. (for prototyping)
We need 3 hours per meeting commitment.
Commit to coming on time to meetings and doing the coursework.
We will spend 3 weeks on lesson one doing a full mini design challenge at each meeting. We found that by doing a series of mini design challenges and going through the full iterations, we get a better sense of all stages of the process.
We will try to record (photograph and video tape) as much of the sessions and work as possible. So taking part means you agree to being recorded.
An overall intention is to create an empathic way of being in the team. This is transformational empathy. Creation as empathic of an environment as we can, and keep iterating on deepening that quality.
We start the meetings off with empathic listening as a foundational practice.
