On Wednesday, October 29th, 2014, the Cecilian Music Club presented Alan Wassermann’s Music Hour at Freehold Music Center on Route 9 in Freehold. The music hour is a lecture/presentation, followed by a question and answer session, with a different theme discussed each event. Phil Carr – pianist, composer, orchestrator, arranger, piano teacher – was our guest speaker. With over 30 years experience as performer and music director on such cruise lines as the Norwegian Cruise Lines, Cunard, Holland America, and Princess, Mr. Carr presented a vivid picture of what life is like as a musician aboard a major cruise line. It was a fun and memorable event! Thank you!!
