LEARNING GOAL: Students will be able to identify the ways in which species rely on each other using appropriate terminology.
LESSON/MEDIA:
1 - Students will watch the video links (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yd9xmmdZ3NUU_FMeSeysZ8H822nk0knewnucOOMzpQE/edit?usp=sharing) and use the class notes - PP 1_33 Interrelationships to guide them in defining each of the different types of interrelationships between organisms in the same ecosystem or in close physical contact.
2 - Students will use the handout to create their own relationships between the fictional organisms. Use what you know about the organism's "needs" to determine what niche it fills and from there what type of relationship it would form. 3 - Students will present relationships designed during last lesson - "Mix & Match Ecology" in the following class
