Wild Cheverly Photo Contest

In the spirit of the theme of this year's Cheverly Day, the Cheverly Green Infrastructure Committee sponsored a Wild Cheverly photo contest. Dave Kneipp organized the contest.

The winners in the Flora category are: First place, Tim Fothergill for Group of Mushrooms, Woodworth Trail; second place, Theron N. Whitaker, Jr., Dandelion; third place, Theron N. Whitaker, Jr., Disambiguation (Cherry Blossom). In the Fauna category, first place was taken by Matt T. Salo, Gray Fox, Euclid Park; second place, Tim Fothergill, Cardinal Standing Out Among the Crowd, Lake Avenue garden; third place, Theron N. Whittaker, Jr., Garter Snake in Front of My House, Lockwood Road. First place in the Landscape category was awarded to Marianne LaRoche, My Favorite Rock; second place, Joyce LaRoche, Landscape Renovation; third place, Marianne LaRoche, Nina's Eye and Nanny's Hand. Tim Fothergill's Group of Mushrooms also won Best in Show. All first place winners received Ledo's Pizza gift certificates.
