Recommendations to the Town of Cheverly

Among the Cheverly Green Infrastructure Committee's responsibilities is to act as an advisory body to the Mayor and Council. Sometimes the Council brings issues to the Green Infrastructure Committee, and sometimes the committee alerts the Council. The committee’s task is to research the issues -- it acts as a fact-finding body. As with any research the worth lies not so much in the answers arrived at, but in the questions asked. The committee then makes recommendations to the Mayor and Council. These recommendations might agree with the Council’s position or might offer different perspectives. The committee’s most important value to the community and the Council lies in its independence.
