Điều thứ 13: Trong hàng Hạ thừa, ai giữ trai kỳ từ 10 ngày sắp lên được thọ truyền Bửu pháp, vào Tịnh Thất có người chỉ luyện đạo.
Điều thứ 14: Chức sắc cai trị trong Đạo từ bực Giáo Hữu sắp lên, phải chọn trong bực người Thượng thừa mà thôi.

Article 12: After the Admission Rite, Caodaists are categorized into:
Ordinary Caodaists, leading a secular life, but must practice vegetarianism for 6 or 10 days a month, follow the Five Precepts and obey Caodaist Secular Law.
Senior Caodaists, practicing complete vegetarianism, stopping killing, and obeying the Four Great Commandments.
Article 13: The ordinary Caodaists, who practice vegetarianism 10 days a month and above, are granted Precious Dharma, that is are taught how to practice esotericism in a Meditation House.
Article 14: Only senior Caodaists can be ordained as dignitaries (Giáo Hữu and above). They are also permitted to practice esotericism in Meditation House under necessary requirements.

The Caodaist Honorary Sacerdotal Council was established on April 20th 1972 to ensure their retirement.

"The most important law in Caodaist Philanthropic Body is a Hành Thiện can't be promoted to a Giáo Thiện until he/she has helped 12 families establish their careers. Those families should never be their relations. A Hành Thiện has to do charity work to everyone except their relatives."

The Caodaist Communion Tower or the Caodaist Judiciary Body.
I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Caodaism is said to have been founded by God and composed of three bodies: Cửu Trùng Đài (Nine-Level Tower), Hiệp Thiên Đài (Communion Tower) and Bát Quái Đài (Octagonal Tower).
■ Cửu Trùng Đài is considered the physical body of Caodaism, led by Giáo Tông and responsible for the instructions of the doctrine.
Hiệp Thiên Đài is considered the spiritual part, led by Hộ Pháp. Hiệp Thiên Đài has two functions. First, it serves as the medium between Cửu Trùng Đài and Bát Quái Đài by holding seances to receive divine messages or holy orders. Second, it establishes all Caodaist courts responsible for religious law violation cases.
■ Bát Quái Đài is the soul of the religion, led by God.

According to Caodaist Canonical Codes, followers are categorized as either Hạ thừa or Thượng thừa.
1. Hạ thừa (Ordinary Caodaists), who lead secular lives, observe Caodaist Secular Law, practice vegetarianism 6-10 days a month and follow the Five Precepts. Those followers are practicing Exotericism.
2. Thượng thừa (Senior Caodaists), who leave their families, practice complete vegetarianism, follow the Five Precepts and Four Commands and enter the priesthood. Those are also considered practicing Exotericism.
Both categories, however, can enter a Meditation House to practice esotericism if meeting the requirements set by the Sacerdotal Council.

Zoroastrianism, also called Zarathustraism, Mazdaism and Magianism, is a religion founded by the Prophet Zoroaster (or Zarathustra) in ancient Iran. The precise date of the founding of Zoroastrianism is uncertain. An approximate date of 1500–1200 BCE has been established through archaeological evidence and linguistic comparisons with the Hindu text Rig Veda. Depending on different approaches, it is thought that Zoroaster lived some time between 1700 BCE. Zoroastrians usually pray in the presence of some form of fire. Fire is considered a medium through which spiritual insight and wisdom is gained, and water is considered the source of that wisdom.

Thuyết đạo của Đức Phạm Hộ Pháp đêm 15 tháng 2 năm Mậu Tý (dl 25-3-1948):
"Không có một điều chi Chí Tôn để trong pháp giới của Ngài trong cửa Đạo nầy mà không có nghĩa lý. Ít nữa mình không biết thì phải tìm cho biết, coi tại sao làm như thầy chùa chạy kim đàn vậy, tìm cho ra duyên cớ đặng hiểu biết bên trong pháp giới của Đức Chí Tôn là thế nào mà hình thể bên ngoài lại dị kỳ như vậy. Không biết phải hỏi, cả thảy nên biết rằng, không một điều gì trong nền tôn giáo nầy mà vô nghĩa lý.
Tại sao phải Hoán đàn? Nam Nữ chen nhau? Đó là bùa Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển.
Tại sao Chí Tôn để bùa Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển tại thế nầy? Đặng chi vậy?
Hiện đã mãn Hạ Nguơn Tam Chuyển, bắt đầu Thượng Nguơn Tứ Chuyển, ta gọi là khai nguơn, nên phải để cho Pháp Luân chuyển.
Ta đã biết thì Tiên Thiên Khí và Hậu Thiên Khí chuyển làm một mới đạt Đạo đặng. Cả thảy đều biết qua, CTĐ nầy là Cửu Thiên Khai Hóa, còn cung trên kia là Cung Đạo. Từ trước đến nay, mỗi người mải miết tìm Đạo mà Đức Chí Tôn để giữa đó, trước mắt mà không biết. Đi Chín từng Trời để cho phần hồn đi cho cùng tột Cửu phẩm Thần Thánh Tiên, đến Phật; rồi từ Phật xuống phàm, rồi từ phàm trở lên Phật, chuyển luân như vậy, Bí pháp gọi là đạt Đạo."
His Holiness Hộ Pháp's Sermon (March 25th 1948):
"What is taught by God in Caodaism is never meaningless. You need to learn what it is and why it looks so strange. Ask to learn!
Why God teaches us the Rite of Circulation? That's the talisman of Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển (Constant Circulation of Dharma). It's now the end of the third Chuyển, in other words the beginning of the fourth Chuyển, also called the commencement Chuyển, so let dharma change or move around.
It's been known that Tiên Thiên Khí (Early Heaven Qi) and Hậu Thiên Khí (Later Heaven Qi) combined into one start the state of enlightenment. Therefore, walking through Cửu Trùng Đài symbolizes a spirit's many incarnations from a human up to a Buddha on the way to gain the ultimate wisdom."
Thánh Giáo của Bát Nương về Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển (Hoán Đàn).
Sau đây, Bát Nương trả lời cho Từ Chơn (về Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển) theo sự muốn hiểu biết của con. Việc này từ trước tới nay không có sách nào trong cửa đạo Cao Đài nói đến vì đó là Bí Pháp của Hộ Pháp khi hành pháp trong một thời cúng tiểu đàn hay đại đàn.
Khi tiếng trống chấm dứt, chức sắc Hiệp Thiên Đài vào trước rồi mới tới chức sắc Cửu Trùng Đài vào. Hộ Pháp vào Hiệp Thiên Đài rồi ngự lên ngai của ngài, còn chức sắc Hiệp Thiên Đài đứng theo phẩm trật của mình.
Hộ Pháp ngồi lên ngai Thất Đầu Xà (chớ không có đứng). Ngồi để hành pháp tịnh tâm và hành pháp luân thường chuyển. Khi Hộ Pháp ngồi thì hai tay đè lên hai đầu rắn Nộ, Ai (tức là Giận Dữ và Buồn Thảm); hai chân đạp lên đầu rắn Ố, Dục (tức là Ghét Bỏ và Tham Muốn). Đó là pháp tịnh tâm của ngài.
Kế đó ngài dùng cặp mắt ngó vô Bát Quái Đài, vẽ chữ bùa Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển, để dùng điển lực này phủ khắp từ nấc số một tới nấc số chín của Cửu Trùng Đài.
Khi đó chức sắc Cửu Trùng Đài mới bắt đầu hoán đàn, nghĩa là theo thứ tự nam tả nữ hữu (từ Bát Quái Đài nhìn ra) chức sắc lớn đi trước, chức sắc nhỏ đi sau. Nam nữ đi một lượt từ nấc số một đến nấc số chín, rồi nam đi qua phải nữ đi qua trái vòng trở xuống Hiệp Thiên Đài, tức là trở xuống nấc số một.
Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển nghĩa là: dầu cho chơn linh nào xuống thế gian cũng phải chịu luật âm dương tạo hóa mà biến hình rồi theo con đường Đạo mà trở về ngôi xưa vị cũ, tùy theo âm chất, tùy theo công đức của mình mà an vị nơi Cực Lạc Thế Giới. Khi đó chơn linh nào không vừa với ngôi vị mình đạt được lại phải tái kiếp xuống trần mà lập công đạt vị một lần nữa.
Pháp hoán đàn tượng trưng một vòng mà các chơn linh đi trong càn khôn vũ trụ để lập nghiệp. Thật ra không phải một vòng mà nhiều vòng, vì đi một vòng vẫn chưa lập ngôi vị cho vừa ý mình nơi Cực Lạc Thế Giới.
Hoán đàn xong, Hộ Pháp đứng lên trên ngai Thất Đầu Xà, dùng Gián Ma Xử vẽ bùa Ngũ Lôi trong đền Thánh để trừ tà diệt mị (tức là trấn Thần) không cho tà ma xâm nhập trong thời cúng. Hộ Pháp cứ đứng mà giữ trật tự (về mặt vô hình) như thế cho hết thời cúng. Nhưng đến dứt bài Ngọc Hoàng Kinh, Hộ Pháp lại xuất chơn thần đi gom tất cả hào quang của toàn đạo vừa xuất hiện ra đem vào Bát Quái Đài, dâng lên cho Chí Tôn để được bố hóa hồng ân rồi Hộ Pháp đem xuống trả lại cho mọi người.
Hộ Pháp đứng trên ngai của Ngài cho đến hết thời cúng.
Đến phần dâng tam bửu, khi dâng hoa, Hộ Pháp đưa tay trái chống nạnh, tay mặt cầm Gián Ma Xử đưa lên tượng trưng cùng toàn đạo dâng thể xác cho Đức Chí Tôn.
Đến phần dâng rượu, Hộ Pháp gác cây Gián Ma Xử nơi khuỷu tay, hai tay chấp lại đưa lên, cây Gián Ma Xử nằm ngang tượng trưng cùng toàn đạo dâng trí não cho Đức Chí Tôn.
Đến phần dâng trà, Hộ Pháp chống cây Gián Ma Xử xuống, hai bàn tay úp lên cây Gián Ma Xử tượng trưng cùng toàn đạo dâng linh hồn cho Đức Chí Tôn.
Khi xong phần này, Hộ Pháp giắc cây Gián Ma Xử lên hông phải nơi dây lịnh sắc và đứng như vậy cho hết thời cúng.
Tóm lại, khi có một thời cúng Tiểu Đàn hay Đại Đàn, Hộ Pháp có mấy việc phải làm:
1. Ngồi trên ngai Thất Đầu Xà để yểm dục.
2. Vẽ bùa Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển cho chức sắc Cửu Trùng Đài đi hoán đàn.
3. Trấn thần trong đền thánh cho buổi lễ được an ninh.
4. Đến phần dâng tam bửu phải chuyển cây Gián Ma Xử ở ba thế khác nhau.
Dứt thời cúng thì Hộ Pháp và chức sắc Hiệp Thiên Đài vào cung đạo mà bái biệt Đức Chí Tôn và các đấng thiêng liêng. Khi trở ra là bãi đàn.
The Eighth Female Buddha's Messages on Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển (Hoán Đàn):
Từ Chơn, now I'll explain to you what Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển is. There have been no explanations for that matter so far because that is Hộ Pháp's performance of esotericism.
After the drumbeats, the Communion Tower Dignitaries lead others into the Temple. Hộ Pháp sits on His throne and other Communion Tower dignitaries stand on their own positions. Sitting on the Seven-Head Snake Throne, Hộ Pháp performs the sacrament of Mind Calmness by putting His hands on the two snakeheads named Anger and Sorrow and stepping on another two named Hate and Desire.
After that, He gazes at the Octagonal Tower, drawing the talisman of Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển whose power covers the entire Nine-Level Tower. Now all dignitaries get in line (seniors first) and walk from level one to level nine in a circle until they return to their original positions. The line of female senior dignitaries is on the right and the line of male ones is on the left.
The walk follows the talisman of Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển drawn by Hộ Pháp's eyesight and that the female line exchanges with the male line symbolizes the Yin and Yang Law.
Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển means a spirit descending on the earth has to obey the divine law in order to return to their original positions in the World of Ultimate Happiness. The spirit who cannot fulfill their religious work has to descend for another incarnation. Hoán đàn stands for the cycle in the universe a spirit has to complete to achieve their heavenly status. Actually, several cycles might need completing for an ideal heavenly position, not just one.
Next, Hộ Pháp stands on the Seven-Snakehead Throne and draw the talisman of Ngũ Lôi with His Gián Ma Xử to eradicate all evil in the temple. He then stands for the whole rite. After the Jade Emperor Prayer, Hộ Pháp has His spirit leave His body, collect all participants' halos and present them to God in the Octagonal Tower. God will bless them all before Hộ Pháp returns them to the participants.
When flower offering is presented to God, Hộ Pháp stands with his left arm akimbo, raising Gián Ma Xử with His right hand to symbolize all participants' bodies offered to God.
When wine offering is presented to God, He places Gián Ma Xử on the elbows, join hands and raise it to symbolize all participants' minds offered to God.
When tea offering is presented to God, He puts Gián Ma Xử straight and faces hands over its end to symbolize all participants' souls offered to God.
Finally, Hộ Pháp sticks Gián Ma Xử on His right hip and stands still through the ceremony.
In short, during a Caodaist rite, Hộ Pháp performs:
The Sacrament of Mind Calmness.
The talisman of Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển for dignitaries to walk around the temple.
The talisman of Ngũ Lôi for security.
Three positions of Gián Ma Xử for the offerings.

A special dignitary under the Communion Tower, responsible for protecting a rite from chaos and confusion. The one who is ordained as Hộ Đàn Pháp Quân will hold the position for life.

Hộ Pháp is the top-ranking dignitary of Hiệp Thiên Đài (The Caodaist Communion Tower). Unlike Giáo Tông, this rank was ordained by God only once, so there is only one Hộ Pháp in Caodaism: His Holiness Hộ Pháp Phạm Công Tắc.
It is recorded that, at midnight April 22nd 1926, God expelled the spirit of Mr Phạm Công Tắc so that the spirit of Dharmapala Buddha could enter the body. This was the unique phenomenon in Caodaist Ordinations.
Hộ Pháp and Thượng Phẩm were the psychics who received God's messages for the ordinations of the first Caodaist dignitaries, the establishment of Caodaism and the Caodaist Canonical Codes.
Hộ Pháp Phạm công Tắc (1890-1959)
Mr Phạm Công Tắc was an official in the French colonial government in Vietnam. In 1925 he, together with Messrs. Cao Quỳnh Cư and Cao Hoài Sang, tried to contact the supernatural world by table tapping. It was a seance in which the psychics sat around a table, one of whose legs was shorter than the others. All psychics then faced their hands on the table surface and waited for it to tap. It was agreed that a tap was A, two taps were B, etc. At first, it took a long time to get a message, then it was possible to receive longer passages thanks to a device called Đại Ngọc Cơ (Great Jade Psychic Pen).
According to Caodaist history, God, through those seances, selected the first disciples, granted Caodaist Constitution and established a new religion. Mr Phạm Công Tắc was ordained as Hộ Pháp (Dharmapala Buddha) by God on April 23rd 1926 and became the most important Caodaist leader. Most of what is now Caodaism came from his leadership.
Prominent Events in Hộ Pháp Phạm Công Tắc's Religious Career
In 1927, the French government transferred him to Cambodia to contain his religious activities. However, this was a chance for him to establish the Caodaist Missionary Council in Phnom Penh.
On November 22nd 1930, he, together with Lý Giáo Tông, signed six Caodaist Acts in order to improve Caodaist administration. On August 25th 1934 he and Lý Giáo Tông signed the Seventh and Eighth Caodaist Acts to prevent the threat of a schism. It is said that these acts help stop the then chaotic situation in Caodaism.
On November 19th 1934, he was ordained as the Supreme Leader of Caodaism.
In 1935, according to Nguyệt Tâm Chơn Nhơn's (an incarnation of Victor Hugo) messages, he created seven junior dignitaries of the Communion Tower.
In 1938, he established Caodaist Philanthropic Body with twelve ranks.
On June 28th 1941, he was arrested and exiled to Madagascar by the French government while he was commanding the construction of the Tây Ninh Central Temple. As a result, the religion was almost dismissed.
In 1946, the French government had to release him because of their unfavorable situation. He resumed leading Caodaism and completed the Central Temple.
In 1950, under his instructions, Trí Huệ Cung, the first Meditation House, was built.
In 1952, he had Báo Ân Từ built to be the temporary temple for God the Mother and the Nine Female Buddhas.
In 1954, he and Lý Giáo Tông established the Caodaist Department of Secular Dignitaries.
In 1956, he was forced to live in exile in Cambodia because of the Ngô Đình Diệm administration's suppression.
He passed away in 1959.

"Như phạm tội trọng hay là tái phạm thì phải đệ lên cho Hội Công Đồng phán đoán. Hội ấy, một vị Đầu Sư hay là Phối Sư phái mình làm đầu và có hai vị Chức sắc hai phái kia nghị án. Hội nầy được quyền trục xuất."
Caodaist Canonical Codes. Article 27:
"A serious law violator or a backslider will be judged by Caodaist Discipline Council. This council is led by a Đầu Sư or Phối Sư of the same stem with two dignitaries of the other stems. This council can rule that the guilty person be expelled."
This council is in charge of the cases from believers to Lễ Sanh. Higher dignitaries will be judged by the Three-Religion Court.

According to Caodaist Canonical Codes, the administrative powers are patterned on the trias politica principle, in other words, there are three branches:
1. Legislature or Hội Quyền Vạn Linh.
2. Executive or Cửu Trùng Đài.
3. Judiciary or Hiệp Thiên Đài.
Hội Quyền Vạn Linh or Caodaist Legislature
Hội Quyền Vạn Linh (literally translated the Congress of General Spirit Power) is the Caodaist Legislature. This organization includes three levels:
1. HỘI NHƠN SANH, the Congress of Humans, is composed of representatives of Caodaist believers and dignitaries such as Thông Sự, Phó Trị Sư, Chánh Trị Sự and Lễ Sanh.
2. HỘI THÁNH, the Congress of Dignitaries, consists of all Giáo Hữu, Giáo Sư and Phối Sư under the Caodaist Nine-Level Tower.
3. THƯỢNG HỘI, the Supreme Congress is made up of Caodaist seniors like Đầu Sư, Chưởng Pháp, Giáo Tông, Hộ Pháp, Thượng Phẩm, and Thượng Sanh.
A decision that has been approved by the three councils will be the most powerful in Caodaism. It is said to be as powerful as God's power.

The beginning of a new period of time. According to His Holiness Phạm Hộ Pháp, a Chuyển is composed of three Nguơn, 12,000 years each, which are Thượng nguơn, Trung nguơn, and Hạ nguơn. It is the end of Hạ nguơn now and the beginning of a new Thượng nguơn again. Therefore, the current time is called Hội ngươn. For example, Hội nguơn hữu Chí Linh huấn chúng. (At the beginning of the new ngươn, God comes to teach the doctrine.)

Hội Nhơn Sanh
Chinese: 會人生
The Council of Humans, one of the three councils forming Quyền Vạn Linh, which has the responsibility to make laws for Caodaism, monitor the Caodaist Executive Body and find out the good way to develop the religion. It operates according to an act signed by Hộ Pháp on December 22nd 1934.

There are many organizations called Hội Thánh in Caodaism.
1. The Council of Dignitaries, one of the three councils of Hội Quyền Vạn Linh, the Caodaist Legislature. This council includes all Giáo Hữu, Giáo Sư and Phối Sư under the Caodaist Nine-Level Tower.
2. Hội Thánh Đạo Cao Đài or Hội Thánh Đại Đạo Tam Kỳ Phổ Độ, the Caodaist Sacerdotal Council, including all Caodaist dignitaries under Giáo Tông.
2. Hội Thánh Cửu Trùng Đài, the Caodaist Sacerdotal Council of the Executive Body, including the dignitaries from Giáo Hữu to Giáo Tông.
2. Hội Thánh Hiệp Thiên Đài, the Caodaist Sacerdotal Council of the Judiciary Body, including the dignitaries from Truyền Trạng to Hộ Pháp.
3. Hội Thánh Phước Thiện, the Caodaist Sacerdotal Council of the Philanthropic Body, including dignitaries from Chí Thiện to .
4. Hội Thánh Ngoại Giáo, the Caodaist Missionary Council.
5. Hội Thánh Hàm Phong, the Caodaist Honorary Sacerdotal Council.
6. Hội Thánh Đường Nhơn, the Caodaist Chinese Sacerdotal Council.
Hội Thánh Em
The Sacerdotal Council Junior, a nickname for the Caodaist Administrative Unit in a village. This unit is led by a Chánh Trị Sự, nicknamed Đầu Sư Junior, who has the same authority as a Đầu Sư in his village. In addition, there are a Phó Trị Sự (nicknamed Giáo Tông Junior) and a Thông Sự (nicknamed Hộ Pháp Junior).
Hội Thánh Ngoại Giáo
Chinese: 會聖外敎
The Caodaist Missionary Council, established by Hộ Pháp in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 1927. This organization is believed to be led by Chưởng Đạo Nguyệt Tâm Chơn Nhơn (Vitor Hugo in an incarnation). However, in a seance in Phnom Penh on September 17th 1956 he was said to have resigned his directorship and dismissed the Council because of some dignitaries' disloyalty.
On August 1st 1973, the Caodaist Missionary Council was reestablished by Hiến Pháp Trương Hữu Đức and Bảo Đạo Hồ Tấn Khoa was assigned to be the temporary director of the council.

HISTORY
Before Caodaist inauguration, Messrs. Cao Quỳnh Cư, Phạm Công Tắc and Cao Hoài Sang were told to treat God the Mother and the nine Female Buddhas to a vegetarian dinner. This was the first time they were shown how to use the Psychic Pen to contact the supernatural world. This pen accelerated the way they received divine messages, which led to the more important messages later. The event is now commemorated by all Caodaists through an annual ceremony called The Gem Pond Banquet.
SIGNIFICANCE
■ Thuyết đạo của Hộ Pháp ngày 15-8-Kỷ Sửu (dl 6-10-1949):
"Toàn thể Thánh thể của Đức Chí Tôn là con cái của Ngài ráng để ý cho lắm. Từ khi Đạo bị bế, Ngọc Hư Cung bác luật, Cực Lạc Thế giới thì đóng cửa, nên chúng sanh toàn cả Càn khôn Vũ trụ có tu mà thành rất ít, bởi phương pháp khó khăn lắm, muốn đạt pháp thì không phải dễ.
Cổ pháp định cho các chơn hồn về nơi DTC hưởng được Hội Yến Bàn Đào, tức nhiên hưởng được Hội Yến Diêu Trì, ăn được quả Đào Tiên, uống được Tiên tửu, mới nhập vô cảnh TLHS gọi là Nhập Tịch. Ôi thôi! Từ thử đến giờ có ai đặng hưởng, nếu có đặng hưởng thì cũng một phần rất ít.
Giờ phút nầy, Đức Chí Tôn quyết định tận độ con cái của Ngài, thay vì Bí Pháp ấy độ con cái của Ngài về nơi Kim Bàn Phật Mẫu đặng hưởng đặc ân thiêng liêng của Đức Chí Tôn. Đức Chí Tôn buộc Phật Mẫu phải đến tại thế gian nầy để Bí Pháp Hội Yến Diêu Trì tại cửa Đạo nầy cho con cái của Ngài giải thoát. Ấy là Bí Pháp thiêng liêng, duy có tay Ngài (Đức Chí Tôn) định pháp ấy mới đặng".
■ Hộ Pháp's Sermon, October 6th 1949:
"All Caodaist dignitaries and followers should pay lots of attention to the significance of the ceremony. Since Đạo (Tao) was closed, Ngọc Hư Cung rejected divine law and Cực Lạc Thế giới (the World of Ultimate Bliss) was shut down, very few priests have attained their religious goal because of the extremely challenging strategy.
According the ancient divine law called Nhập Tịch (Entry Ceremony), the spirits who returned to Diêu Trì Cung (the Gem Pond Palace) and enjoyed heavenly apricot and wine in Hội Yến Bàn Đào (the Banquet of Apricot) could enter Cảnh Thiêng Liêng Hằng Sống (the Eternity). Alas! Hardly any spirits have been able to achieve that so far.
Nowadays, God chooses to save all of His children, so He makes God the Mother display the esoteric dharma of Hội Yến Diêu Trì in the earthly world so that His children can be saved, not to wait until returning to Diêu Trì Cung. Only God can do that!"

Caodaists follow the procedures in Quan Hôn Tang Lễ (Caodaist Rites), published by the Caodaist Sacerdotal Council:
They have to choose a Caodaist partner.
They have to post a notice at the local Holy House 8 days before the wedding.
The wedding should be held in a Holy House.
A male Caodaist is not allowed to have a concubine without his wife's agreement.
Divorce is not allowed in Caodaism.

Marriage & the performance of the marriage sacrament.
A Caodaist dignitary, usually Giáo Sư or Phối Sư in the central Temple, is responsible for the performance of the marriage sacrament for a newlywed couple, who must be over 18 years old and be officially Caodaist believers.

According to chapters 6–9 in the Book of Genesis, in the Bible, because of humanity's misdeeds, God intended to return the Earth to its pre-Creation state by the Great Flood. Thus, God told Noah to build an ark for his family and two of every kind of animal. After the Flood, God remade the earth using the microcosm of Noah's ark.

The title of Guan Yu (died 220), a general serving under the warlord Liu Bei in the late Eastern Han dynasty, China. In Caodaism, he is one of the Three Heavenly Governors, who represent the three religions (Buddism, Taoism and Confucianism) in the Third Amnesty.

Huệ Mạng Kim Tiên (Huệ Mạng Trường Phan)
Chinese: 慧命金仙
The divine title of Ông Đạo Nhỏ (the small priest), who attained enlightenment in Linh Sơn Động (Holy Mount Cave), Mount Bà Đen, Tây Ninh, Vietnam.
He is said to have been a small Buddhist monk (dharma name: Tánh Thiền) who used to do charity work by providing drinking water for pagoda visitors. He was unknown until a divine message from a Caodaist seance revealed what he had been. It was then that people realized he had passed away. In several other Caodaist seances, he gave some divine messages.

The Eighth Female Buddha's Teachings on Esoteric Practice:
As mentioned earlier, a human head is inside a skull that protects a brain. The skull top is called mỏ ác (fontanel), beneath which is Nê Hườn Cung. Below the forehead is the eyes, between which is Huệ Quang Khiếu. Nê Hườn Cung and Huệ Quang Khiếu are invisible, so they cannot be studied by current anatomy. Huệ Quang Khiếu is the third eye, which will be opened when you have converted Khí (mind) into Thần (soul). According to Buddhism, you have then obtained the six miraculous powers or the spiritual enlightenment when you reach this stage. This stage, however, is only the result of the second stage: converting Khí into Thần in Caodaist esotericism. You have to complete the last stage: converting Thần back to Hư - that is, your Chơn Thần (soul) travels everywhere in the universe.
