Il est même temps Père et Maître,
Parce que c'est de LUI, vient tout notre être.
Il nourrit notre corps de ce qui est sain,
Et fabrique notre esprit de ce qui est divin.
En LUI, tout est Science et Sagesse,
Le progrès de l'âme est son oeuvre sans cesse.
Les viles matières sont joyaux à ses yeux,
De vils esprits, Il en fait des Dieux.
Sa loi est Amour, sa puissance est Justice.
Il ne connaiât que la vertu et non le vice.
PÈRE: Il donne à ses enfants sa Vitalité,

He is both Father and Master.

He feeds us on healthy food

His law is Love and His power is Justice.

According to Caodaism, in the Third Amnesty, a competition of good deeds is held on earth called Ðại Hội Long Hoa or Judgement Day. Buddha Maitreya is assigned to the Judge to decide who deserve to be Angel, Saint, Immortal or Buddha.

Chánh danh (Chính danh)
Chinese: 正名
Rectification of names.
According to Confucius, social disorder can stem from the failure to call things by their proper names, and His solution to this was zhèngmíng (Chinese: [正名]; pinyin: zhèngmíng; literally: "rectification of terms"). He gave an explanation of zhengming to one of his disciples.
"If names be not correct, language is not in accordance with the truth of things. If language be not in accordance with the truth of things, affairs cannot be carried on to success. When affairs cannot be carried on to success, proprieties and music do not flourish. When proprieties and music do not flourish, punishments will not be properly awarded. When punishments are not properly awarded, the people do not know how to move hand or foot.
Therefore a superior man considers it necessary that the names he uses may be spoken appropriately, and also that what he speaks may be carried out appropriately. What the superior man requires is just that in his words there may be nothing incorrect."

There are 12 entrances to Tây Ninh Temple, of which the main entrance is the biggest. It is in front of the Temple, beginning a 60-meter road to the west called Chánh môn Avenue. It is still a controversy nowadays because it is said not to have been built according to Hộ Pháp's plan.

The Three Chánh Phối Sư are: Thái Chánh Phối Sư (the Branch of Buddhism), Thượng Chánh Phối Sư (the Branch of Taoism), and Ngọc Chánh Phối Sư (the Branch of Confucianism).

Automatic writing (psychography) is an alleged psychic ability allowing a person to produce written words without consciously writing. The words are claimed to arise from a spiritual or supernatural source. This is one of Caodai's ways to communicate with the divine world.

"Còn chấp bút, khi Thầy đến thì làm cho thần của con bất định một lát cho thần xuất ra nghe Thầy dạy, còn tay con tuân theo mà viết, ấy là một phần của con, một phần của Thầy hiệp nhứt mới thấu đáo Càn Khôn, tinh thông vạn vật đặng. Caodaist Schism, Caodaist Sects.
Caodaism is believed to have been established by God and was officially inaugurated in 1926. However, some senior dignitaries disobeyed the Sacerdotal Council and left, holding their own seances and ordinations and becoming Caodaist sects. The Eighth Caodai's Act declared that all sects were against Caodaist Constitution and that they were false religions.
Between 1928 and 1934 there were five major sects although this figure has been controversial:
1. Chiếu Minh (1927)
2. Cầu Kho (1930)
3. Minh Chơn Lý (1931)
4. Tiên Thiên (1932)
5. Ban Chỉnh Ðạo Bến Tre (1934).
From these, more sects emerged later. Mr Gabriel Gobron, divinely ordained as Tiếp Dẫn Ðạo Nhơn, in Histoire et Philosophie du Caodaisme, published 1949, confirmed there were 11 sects. Mr Huệ Lương Trần Văn Quế said there were 15 sects in 1963.
There have been lots of attempts to reunite the sects, but so far no positive results have been recorded.

1. DIVINE SOUL:
Like I said, I (God) have a divine soul keep your body alive. Needless to say, you know the divine soul is absolutely fair and can communicate with Angels, Saints, Immortals, and Buddhas as well as the Sinless in Ngọc Hư Cung. The divine soul records exactly what you have done for the Court of Judgement. Therefore, no sinners can make a getaway. Moreover, the soul not only protects but also educates you, so it is supposedly called "conscience".

What is spiritual body? It is your second body. When you are alive, it hardly leaves your body, whose has a very powerful attraction to it. The spiritual bodies of Angels, Saints, Immortals, and Buddhas are miraculous, everlasting and indestructible. A true priest, who achieves the religious goal before death, can have his spiritual body leave and travel around. Such a spiritual body is allowed to see Me (God).

Chưởng Ðạo Nguyệt Tâm Chơn Nhơn
Chinese:掌道月心眞人
Religious Leader Nguyệt Tâm Chơn Nhơn.
Chưởng Ðạo: the title is said to be ordained by God. Nguyệt Tâm Chơn Nhơn: the Saint in the White Cloud Cave in Heaven, who leads Caodai Missionary.
Thánh Ngôn Hiệp Tuyển:
"Bần đạo khi đắc lịnh làm Chưởng Ðạo lập Hội Thánh giáo đạo tha phương thì tùng lòng bác ái của Chí Tôn, mở rộng thế cho nhơn sanh dâng công đổi vị. Bần đạo chẳng kể là Nguyên nhân, Hóa nhân hay Quỉ nhân, ví biết lập công thì thành đạo."

Dharma Master.
The title of a senior Caodai dignitary in the Nine-Level Tower, lower than Giáo Tông (Caodaist Head). There are three Chưởng Pháp, who are responsible for religious laws. There have been four Chưởng Pháp, who died all. Presently, there are no Chưởng Pháp in Caodaism (2015).

Growing water melon, you get water melon. Growing bean, you get bean.(Literally). This expression refers to Karma, the principle of cause and effect in Buddhism.
