Maintaining A healthy Life
A low dosage of cannabis is very beneficial to the human body to maintaining and activating the endocannabinoid system providing the Essential Oils and Fatty Acids found so richly in Cannabis Oil, but not in the food of today, it is recommended that a dose of the Cannabis Oil be consumed daily to help ensure a healthy life.
(Not to get high but as a maintance programme)
When choosing a cannabis product, look for:
CBD-Rich Products: For maximum therapeutic impact, choose products that include both CBD, a non-intoxicating compound, and THC, the main psychoactive component of cannabis. CBD and THC work best together, enhancing each other's therapeutic benefits.
Clear Labels: Look for labels showing the quantity and ratio of CBD and THC per dose, a manufacturing date and batch number (for quality control).
Lab Testing: Look for products that are tested for consistency, and verified as free of mold, bacteria, pesticides, solvent residues, and other contaminants.
Quality Ingredients: Select products with quality ingredients. No corn syrup, GMOs, transfats, and artificial additives.
Safe Extraction: Avoid products extracted with toxic solvents. Solvent residues are especially dangerous for immune-compromised patients.
Cannabis Not Industrial Hemp: Compared to whole plant cannabis, hemp is typically low in cannabinoid content. A huge amount of hemp is required to extract a small amount of CBD, raising the risk of contaminants because hemp, a bioaccumulator, draws toxins from the soil. The robust terpene profile of whole plant cannabis enhances the therapeutic benefits of CBD and THC.
We recommend CBD rich products made using only whole plant cannabis because this is the best safety profile and has superior health benefits.
Hemp—derived CBD and refined CBD powders lack critical terpenes and secondary cannabinoids found in cannabis oil. These Compounds interact with CBD and THC to enhance their health benefits.
SAFE Cannabis Products can now be designed, with Cannabis cultivated to produce the required mixture of
Cannabinoids for the Treatment.
Cannabis therapeutics is personalized.
The balancing of the body’s Cannabinoid System only requires the tiniest doses over a few weeks or months to affect the rebalancing.
While many people get excellent pain relief from the Non-Psychotropic product, some require much stronger pain relief.
This is when the arsenal of THC Products is used to design a Cannabis Product with the required
strength to relieve the Pain or Symptoms.
A Cannabis Treatment Plan will ensure the Psychotropic Effect is not overwhelming but most pleasurable.
The Patient is to maintain a good Water hydration so concentrations can be stabilised and toxins flushed from the body.
Mild exercise early in the day to fire up the body’s metabolism. A short walk slowing increasing until able to
comfortably walk for at lease half an hour daily at least three or four times a week.
The right treatment regimen depends on the person and condition being treated. For maximum therapeutic benefit, choose cannabis products that include both personalised (CBD), a non-intoxicating compound, and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive component of cannabis. CBD and THC interact to enhance each other’s therapeutic effects. They work best together. A patient’s sensitivity to THC is a key factor to determining the ratio and dosage of CBD-rich medicine. Many people enjoy the cannabis high and can consume reasonable doses of any cannabis product without feeling too high or dysphoric. Others find THC unpleasant. CBD can lessen or neutralize the intoxicating effects of THC. A product with a greater ratio of CBD-to-THC means less of a “high.”
A Patient could start taking a Cannabis product, which has not been Heat Treated, so therefore contains 95% THCA and 5% THC. Psychotropic Tolerance Adjustment selects an Administration Method which starts at a low %THC in the Cannabis and is raised over a couple of weeks to a Cannabis with the required %THC to illicit the Psychotropic Effect in such a way so that it is experienced not as overwhelming but as Pleasurable while at the same time delivering the Pain Relief necessary.
Finding your ratio is the first step to effective treatment.
Find Your Ratio!
Cannabis is currently available in the form of concentrated oil extracts, infused sublingual sprays, capsules, edibles, and other products. Potent cannabis oil extracts have varying ratios of CBD and THC that are calibrated to suit the needs and sensitivities of each patient.
For anxiety, depression, spasms, and personalised seizure disorders, many patients initially find they do best with a moderate dose of a CBD-dominant remedy (a CBD:THC ratio of more than 10:1). But a low THC remedy, while not intoxicating, is not necessarily the best therapeutic option. A combination of CBD and THC will likely have a greater therapeutic effect for a wider range of conditions than CBD or THC alone. For cancer, neurological disease, and many other ailments, patients may benefit from a balanced ratio of CBD and THC. Extensive clinical research has shown that a 1:1 CBD:THC ratio is effective for neuropathic pain. paediatric one’s therapeutic use of cannabis may entail a careful, step-by-step process, whereby a patient starts with small doses of a non-intoxicating CBD-rich remedy, observes the results, and gradually increases the amount of THC.
In essence, the goal is to self-administer consistent, measurable doses of a CBD-rich remedy that includes as much THC as a person is comfortable with.
The Biphasic Effect
Cannabis compounds have biphasic properties, which means that low and high doses of the same substance can produce opposite effects. Small doses of cannabis tend to stimulate; large doses sedate. Too much THC, while not lethal, can amplify anxiety and mood disorders. CBD has no known adverse side effects at any dose, but drug interactions can be problematic. An excessive amount of CBD could be less effective therapeutically than a moderate dose. “Less is more” is often the case with respect to cannabis therapy.
“Dosage is everything”
Dosage Guidelines
Decide how you want to take cannabis. Cannabis oil is available in sprays, capsules, edibles and other products.
Find your ratio. Cannabis products have varying amounts of CBD and THC. A high CBD or high THC product is not necessarily superior to a strain with a balanced ratio. Find the proper combination to optimize your therapeutic use of cannabis.
Begin with a low dose especially if you have little or no experience with cannabis.
This oil is very potent so one must begin treatment with small doses. A drop of oil about half the size of a grain of rice, two to four times a day is a good beginning rather than one big dose.
Use the same dose and ratio for several days. Observe the effects and if necessary adjust the ratio or amount.
After four or five days, start increasing your daily dosage very gradually. As time goes on the body builds a tolerance to the oil and more and more can be taken. In cases where people are in a great deal of pain, I recommend that their dosage be quickly increased until it kills the pain.
High quality oil will stop pain even when morphine is not effective. The oil can be applied to external injuries for pain relief in minutes.
Don’t overdo it. “Less is more” is often the case with cannabis therapeutics.
Once the Patient is comfortable with the high dose of THC the treatment can begin.
High Doses of Cannabis are administered by the selected method for the duration of the treatment. The Patient is kept in a
calm relaxed state free from any pain. The pain inflected by current chemical methods is horrible to experience or
witness and for many people Cannabis has offered the only hope of escape from the Pain of this experience.
After the Treatment the Patient will have their THC Tolerance lowered, as any pain dictates.
It becomes obvious when the Cannabinoid/THC adjustment is complete or has proceeded far enough to become Self-
Regulating once again. The first signs are in the behaviour of the Patients who report giving up smoking or alcohol or
greatly reducing their intake to SAFE consumption levels. Other responses have been identified also such as a
change in attitude or mood from a once angry personality to a calm relaxed individual able to access the situation
without exploding into anger.
Be aware of possible side effects. (see below) Cannabis is a safe and forgiving medicine. Depending upon delivery method and individual tolerance, it can amplify anxiety and mood disorders. Other possible side effects are dry mouth, dizziness and faintness.
Proceed cautiously, especially if you have a history of alcohol or drug abuse, mental illness, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
One kilo gram (1000g) of bone-dry cannabis buds will usually produce about 4 ounces (100 - 120 mL) of high-grade oil. This amount of oil will help most serious cancers; the average person can ingest this amount in about three months.
Following the dosage previously described, many people can take the full treatment and never get high If a person does take too much oil the effect wears off quickly and no harm is done. No one has ever died from the use of cannabis.
ADMINISTRATION
Having an extracted product it has far more uses and can be used and administrated in a number of ways providing the maximum befits of all the compounds of cannabis in a safe direct easy manor.
Having raw cannabis flower does not last any time period before it starts to degrade and it is very difficult to store where as cannabis extract can be frozen and stored for long periods.
Using an extract more control and reaction can be determined and monitored as a known profile of the extract is known and depending on the delivery method the patient can be more easier monitored and treatment adapted to suit.
SMOKING
When cannabis is burned, many of the cannabinoids within the plant are actually destroyed by the heat. Research has found that the smoke created from burning cannabis contains 88 percent non-cannabinoid matter. What this means is that smoking cannabis actually wastes much of the active ingredients from cannabis.
Smoke is created through an open flame; through burning or combustion. When a herb such as cannabis or tobacco is smoked, it is quite literally being destroyed by the high temperature of the fire.
As a consequence of burning, the smoke is full of carbon-monoxide, tar, and many other harmful toxins that are produced in this process. Carbon-monoxide, for example, cannot be found in the cannabis itself, but once Cannabis is burned, this gas is created in the process. This applies to many toxic products found in smoke, such as PAHs and tar.
VAPORISING
Vaporising, on the other hand, is not such a brutal process. As opposed to burning, identified doesn‘t involve an open flame, which greatly reduces the temperature the herb is exposed to. When cannabis is vaporised, it is heated up exactly to the point where the cannabinoids change their state from solid resin to gaseous particles.
Vapour is much more pure. Since nothing is burned, there are no such toxic products being created. Cannabis vapour consist of 95 percent cannabinoids, with the remaining 5 percent being flavonoids and one single polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon. It contains none of the toxins found in smoke, whilst delivering a much purer and resource efficient experience.
ORAL MUCOSAL
One of the most efficient ways to absorb THC and other cannabinoids is through the mucosal lining of the mouth. Within the mouth, there are three areas that absorb – the mucosa lining inside the entire the mouth, the area under the tongue (sublingual) and the tongue itself. Cannabis products placed under the tongue (sublingually) take effect more quickly than those absorbed through the general mucosal tissue lining the mouth or placed on the tongue itself.
INGESTION ORAL CANNABIS
When we ingest cannabis oil it is absorbed via the intestines and then passes through the liver, which processes the THC into a by product called 11-hydroxy-THC, which then travels to the bloodstream and then on to our brains. 11-hydroxy THC is thought to be four to five times more potent than regular THC. This is one reason why edibles are known to be more potent when compared to inhaled cannabis. Edibles are also thought to be strong sedatives and many patients use them for treatment of insomnia. Cannabis taken in edible form usually takes from 40 minutes to one hour to start working and the peak effect is at two hours. The effects last though from six to eight hours, which is very convenient for those patients who want to sleep or have longer control of pain.
The key to proper use of oral cannabis is to know how much to eat so as to get the best medicinal effect without taking too much. A minimum recommended dosage is 2 ml a day this can be broken down into smaller dosages depending on the patient reactions.
TRANSDERMAL CANNABIS
Cannabis is lipophilic, which means that it can be dissolved into a fat-soluble substance and readily enter cell membranes. In other words, it can be effective when applied topically on the skin. Cannabis can be used vaporising to relieve pain from many conditions. Medical Cannabis can be a balm, lotion, ointment or rubbing alcohol solution. In the old days when people only had plants to use for medication, many patients would soak Cannabis leaves in alcohol and apply them as a poultice to an arthritic or swollen joint. Many substances pass easily through the skin and that is why transdermal medicine has been more evident in contemporary medicine. When it comes to Cannabis anti-inflammatory effect people have long experienced this in action when they have applied Cannabis to their skin. Patients with arthritis, muscle and joint pain can testify to the easing of the aches and pains that they feel on a regular basis. Topical marijuana preparations usually provide only local relief and do not have effect on the brain, meaning there is usually no high. This is helpful for those times when Cannabis use is inappropriate (like when you have to drive your car) and you still need pain relief! Transdermal medicine is ideal for pain management as well as sports and Optimising medicine. In fact it is one of the best ways to administer medicines quickly and effectively. Transdermal methods of delivery are widely used because they allow the absorption of medicine directly through the skin. Gels, emulsion creams, sprays and lip balm stick applicators are easy to use and are effective in getting medicine into the bloodstream quickly. Traditional methods of administering medicine such as tablets or capsules get watered down and become much less effective due to stomach acids and digestive enzymes before they eventually get into the bloodstream. Bypassing the stomach and liver means a much greater percentage of the active ingredient goes straight into the bloodstream where it's needed. In many cases, transdermal methods are used to help avoid potential side effects such as stomach upset or drowsiness. The full potential for transdermal medicine has not been explored by modern medicine though it has been practiced for thousands of years around the world.
WATER CURE BASIC TEA
The water cure is performed after the cannabis is dried. Powder and small pieces are most often used, but the cure also works with whole colas. The material is piled loosely in a glass or ceramic pot which is filled with luke-warm water. (When hot water is used, some of the THC is released in oils, which escape and float to the top of the water.) Within a few hours many of the non-psychoactive water-soluble substances dissolve. An occasional gentle stirring speeds the process. The water is then drunk as a tea and the process can be repeated. Then the cannabis is dried again for smoking.
THC is not water-soluble; so it remains on the plant when it is soaked. By eliminating water-soluble substances (pigments, proteins, sugars, and some resins), which may make up 25 percent of the plant material by weight.
Cannabis cured by this method has a dark, almost black colour, and looks twisted and curled, something like tea leaves. The water cure is frequently used to cure dried fan leaves and poor-quality cannabis.
