A Reason For Everything
When a lot of variables, such as these supplements, are in use, the scientific aspect of the design is very complex. The human brain cannot cope with many variables and see results that can be attributed to one combination and not another. For this reason, science, including medical science, phrases its questions one variable at a time. For example, a lab rat may be given asbestos or carcinogenic dye or methyl cholanthrene or urethane or copper and so forth, but never more than one of these. The results may be minimally tumor inducing. Antitumor treatments are given one by one, too. But the human counterpart gets hundreds of tumor inducing substances at the same time quite a different situation. Experimental animals are not eating asbestos-laden dyed food, nor getting metal and plastic tooth restorations nor thulium-polluted vitamin C. This is how medical science missed finding the causes and cures of our tumor growths. Any single entity does not work alone, not in causation, nor in cure. Only a specific set is the correct set.
Herbalists for thousands of years have researched and used nature's products to bring about health and improve the body's ability to fight disease. These combined with a good wholesome diet and regular exercise will build maintain your Immune System, naturally.
Supplements are used, both in bulk and capsules, but not extracts, concentrates, or concoctions. There are many books that describe their uses.
Vitamin C,
In crystal form, is a must in your lifestyle. It helps the liver, and possibly other organs, detoxify things. It also helps retard mold, and perhaps even destroys aflatoxins! Keep some next to your refrigerator so it is handy when you put away groceries. Add 1/8 tsp. to maple syrup, vinegar, cooked cereal, fruit juice, leftovers. Have 1⁄4 tsp. (1 gram) with each meal.
Vitamin C detoxifies methyl malonate, restores ferrous iron, and adds reducing power to your body’s chemistry. But it should be balanced with the use of oxidizers (which we do).
Vitamin C is known to prevent scurvy in humans by making strong connective tissues like bone and skin. About a dozen more functions have been studied by scientists.
Vitamin C is probably the most popular and frequent supplement used. So I want to discuss safety for a moment. Any supplement used daily should be as safe as food and water. Even the smallest amount of pollutant becomes more important due to daily accumulation of whatever toxins are present. Food and water have a safety feature built into them—they are both changed in source and variety during the day. A vitamin or mineral tablet, on the other hand, stays the same, bringing with it the same processing pollutants day after day after day.
Processing must introduce pollutants. It is in the very nature of processing, even when so simple a process as just mixing is done. The bins and vats must all be cleaned and sterilized. The sterilizing solutions themselves are not safe and pollute the product in trace amounts. No one should be given supplements that have not had a final analysis for heavy metals (particularly lanthanides), solvents, and synthetic dyes. Cancer patients, especially, suffer from the least amount of toxicity; it’s a matter of life and death for them.
There are a lot of vitamin C varieties on the market, but I can only recommend L-ascorbic acid (straight vitamin C) because it has the least amount of processing. I don’t even recommend the tablet form of plain vitamin C because the extra ingredients that must be added to make tablets may inadvertently pollute the product.
Vitamin C is often marketed for children. Be particularly cautious of those. Is that flavored, chewable, or “better than regular vitamin C” really worth taking a risk?
There is yet another reason for sticking to plain vitamin C. As soon as you do any kind of chemistry with it, like “buffer” it with calcium, you create oxidation products. These are some- times called ascorbic acid “metabolites,” and have not been well researched. But excessive oxidation products of vitamin C have been found in the blood of diabetics, in the lens during cataract formation, and in aging in general. Adrenal and kidney tumors have been implicated, too. You take vitamin C for its reducing power. Why ingest a form that is partly oxidized?
Vitamin B1
Vitamin B1 is thiamin. Since slow oxidation of food limits the availability of ATP energy, helping food oxidize in any way is important. Cancer patients become emaciated as the disease becomes terminal. Part of this is due to not eating. There is no appetite. In fact, there may be revulsion toward food. The pa- tient shoves everything away except water. The liver dictates this behavior. Perhaps it knows it can’t digest. It takes a large amount of thiamin and other digestive “help” to persuade the liver it can digest food. It takes 500 mg taken with each meal to increase appetite.
Vitamin B2,
Vitamin B2 is riboflavin. Besides being part of the oxidation chain that metabolizes food, B2 has a number of other activities.
It is a detoxifier of azo dyes detects the disappearance of benzene within minutes after taking a large enough dose of B2. But it is only changed to phenol, halfway to complete detoxification. So vitamin B2 is taken with magnesium to detoxify phenol as well. Phenol is extremely destructive, oxidizing our vitamin C, our sulfur-based enzymes, and even vitamins
This is the vitamin that helps detoxify benzene! Take one to three 100 mg tablets a day. While recovering from AIDS you need 3 tablets three times a day.
Vitamin B3, Niacin
Open blood vessels wider by giving niacin. Give it early in the morning, upon rising, as soon as the feet are set on the floor. Keep it at the bedside, use small capsules or tablets and combine this chore with water drinking. The water should not be cold and should have nothing added to make it a beverage. (Drinking water within minutes of sitting upright may also move the bowels soon.)
Vitamin B6,
Undoubtedly this helps the liver and kidneys in many ways. Vitamin B6 helps enzymes that transform amino acids, called transaminases. It is a vital function of the liver. In fact, if transaminase levels in the blood are high, it shows these enzymes were dumped by the liver due to dying liver cells. Unfortunately, bacteria also make much use of B6, so we have kept this supplement low, only 250 mg, twice a day.
Magnesium oxide, 300 mg.,
Is another must. Take one or two a day. It is a major mineral; all of our cells need lots of it. Only leafy vegetables provide it.
Thioctic acid or lipoic acid
Presumably this chelates (traps and prepares for elimination) heavy metals, and helps the liver in detoxifying obscure and deadly poisons. Everyone would benefit from 100 mg. per day. It comes as a 100 mg. capsule. I use it at doses from one capsule, 3 times a day, to 2 capsules, 5 times a day. I have seen no side effects at these dosages, even in very sick persons.
Sulfur-Supplying Compounds (remove heavy metals)
Metals (except the lanthanides) typically combine with sulfur to form sulfides. This also detoxifies them in the body, solubilizing them, so they can be excreted. Metal sulfides can be escorted out of the body via the kidneys and intestines. After your sulfur is used up, the plain metals remain in circulation and are attracted to the tiny hyperactive tissue where cell division is accelerated. Lanthanide metals cannot be detoxified this way. They belong to a special group of metals that are highly magnetic (paramagnetic), second only to iron. They were once called “Rare Earths”, though of course they are not rare. But they were so difficult to separate, one from another, that getting any one in pure form was rare indeed. There are 15 in all; although two other elements, yttrium and scandium, are often added to the group.
Glutathione
It’s a very simple molecule that may well be the most important molecule you need to stay healthy and prevent disease. It’s a key for preventing aging, cancer, heart disease, dementia, and other chronic diseases. It’s also essential for treating everything from autism to Alzheimer’s disease to cancer and much more.Glutathione is a combination of three simple building blocks of protein or amino acids − cysteine, glycine, and glutamine − and it is produced naturally in the body. It is called “the master antioxidant” because it can regenerate itself in the liver after each fill-up of free radicals and go back to work. Free radicals are often the byproduct of normal cellular metabolic oxidation and toxic overload. They can lead to autoimmune diseases, several types of cancer, and even heart attacks.
Methionine
Repairs metabolism. Amino acids help build the proteins that make up the tissues and organs of your body.In addition to this critical function, some amino acids have other special roles. Methionine is an amino acid that produces several important molecules in your body. These molecules are essential for the proper functioning of your cells. Because of the important molecules it produces, some recommend increasing methionine intake. However, others recommend limiting it due to possible negative side effects. Methionine is an amino acid found in many proteins, including the proteins in foods and those found in the tissues and organs of your body. In addition to being a building block for proteins, it has several other unique features. One of these is its ability to be converted into important sulfur containing molecules. Sulfur containing molecules have a variety of functions, including the protection of your tissues, modifying your DNA and maintaining proper functioning of your cells. These important molecules must be made from amino acids that contain sulfur. Of the amino acids used to make proteins in the body, only methionine and cysteine contain sulfur. Although your body can produce the amino acid cysteine on its own, methionine must come from your diet Additionally, methionine plays a critical role in starting the process of making new proteins inside your cells, something that is continuously occurring as older proteins break down. Methionine supplies methyl groups. It is best to take both methionine and cysteine at the same time.
Cysteine
Cysteine gives a quick diuretic effect, very good for any sick person. Cysteine can trigger the liver to quickly regenerate, Cysteine was researched by scientists decades ago and found beneficial in certain cancers. It is used for its tumor reducing power, detoxifying power, a sulfur source, an iron mobilizer, and as a parasite killer! It kills parasites and bacteria whether inside the body or outside, provided a correct dose is taken.
