"A minibus for kungur baby Home"
Over a year and a half we gathered the 35000 Euro necessary for the purchase of the bus. The money came from donations, big and small, from private individuals as well as from sales organized by the association and collaborative events.
The association also won a 5000 Euro prize from the foundation PSA-Peugeot-Citroen for this project.
The 23 seat minibus was delivered to the Kungur baby house on April 17th, 2014.

Kungur baby home children draw the bus!
The first outing on the new bus was May 7th 2014!
The children were invited to see a production at the Perm Theater, of the show 'Leopold's Birthday.'

Here is the extract of a letter which Svetlana Barsukova sent us, about the plan of the bus...
(…) To have a minibus would give us a lot of possibilities to help for adaptation and socialization of the baby home children.
All the events(here or in Perm), would become accessible for our children.
All the excursions, language classes, the puppet traveling shows, the carousels, would be at our disposal.
Our sponsors in Perm are ready to offer some shows to us, but we have still this transport problem.
The museum, as well as the circus, that come to Kungur, make gestures of beneficence. We could go with the children, free, but we don’t have transport.
In the Baby home, there are children who has never felt joy in their life and for them, to go out of baby home is happiness. There are children who grow up here. So that the child isn't isolated from the society and grows well, and so that he is prepared to fit more easily into the society, also so that the procedure of adoption is easier… For all these reasons, this project is essential for us.
