Preparation of the summer 2021 PROJECT: "From Kungur to Gargilesse"

On the occasion of the "Franco-Russian year of decentralised cooperation"

Joint exhibition of Russian and French painters, graphic designers and photographers

(with the participation of school children)

from August 1st to 31st at the farm of the castle of Gargilesse

6 artists from Kungur (Nadejda ARAPOVA, Irina GLOUCHKO, Nastya GORDEEVA, Tatiana OBVNITSEVA, Olga PIKHTOVNIKOVA, Lena TEPLYAKOVA) are painting or drawing Gargilesse from photographs taken by Jean-Marc VOLTA and Nadège TEXIER.

9 painters from Gargilessse and surroundings (Catherine CESARI, Vanessa DOUELLE, ELISA, Mark GUIBERT, Emilie VAN HERREWEGHE, Pascal LARDE,Georges LEMOINE, MOJEANNE, Annik THEVENIN) are painting or drawing Kungur from photos taken by Rinat SALIMOV and Nastya GORDEEVA.

Children from the schools of Gargilesse - Orsennes - Pommiers - St Plantaire - Cuzion and their pen pals from the Gymnase school in Kungur, as well as children from School 10 and the House of Culture of the Mechanical Engineers of Kungur, and children from the high school of Argenton sur Creuse, are also participating with drawings illustrating the region of the other country, and with a presentation of their respective regions.

Our juries have finally voted, and we can now announce all the winners of the "My Christmas and New Year's Tale" drawing competition! The RESULTS : The RESULTS!

Thank you and Bravo to all the children who participated! And thank you to our dear members of the jury who took their mission to heart... On the Russian side, prizes were awarded by Evgueni Primakov (Head of the federal agency Rossotroudnitchestvo), Alexey Meshkov (Russian ambassador in France), Erik Boulatov (illustrator and painter), Eleonora Mitrofanova (special ambassador of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Konstantin Volkov

(director of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Paris), Alexander Merzlov (president of the association of the most beautiful villages of Russia), Tatiana Barysheva (art critic, specialist of Russian art), Rouslan Setsky (artist and children's teacher ), and of course, prizes were awarded by the children's jury of the CRSC and the CRSC team. Prizes were also awarded by the Cultural Centre of Mechanical Engineers of Kungur.

On the French side, the president of the jury is Vanik Berberian (the mayor of the artists' village Gargilesse-Dampierre - one of the most beautiful villages in France!), the jury is composed by the painters of Gargilesse: Catherine Cesari, Elisa, Pascal Lardé, Georges Lemoine, NAR (Bernard Piette) and Annick Thevenin. Prizes were also awarded by GargilesseBand.

On our website, you can also discover the public prizes (we received 1670 voting mails!), and the prizes of the association "Pour Kungur"...

Thank you all for the enthusiasm you have shown for this project!!!!

The results are also announced on the CRSC website in Paris. Special thanks to Konstantin Volkov and his team for the great collaboration. We are very happy and proud to have started this "Cross Year of Franco-Russian Decentralised Cooperation" with them.

05/11/2020 - Russian President VLADIMIR Putin signed a decree on the awarding of high state awards... We can read on the official portal of legal information of the Russian Federation:

Winter 2020/2021

"A Christmas card - A smile”

(November 2020 - February 2021)

As every year, we reiterate this operation initiated in 2016 by Espace Oxygène and the association " Pour Kungur"

This project involves sending as many Christmas cards as possible to children who are either in the orphanage or in the hospital, or in centers for disabled children in Kungur and Perm Region (Russia), but also in schools.

Last year, almost 1000 greeting cards were exchanged!...But more than wishes, they were real exchanges of friendship that were shared.

Drawings exhibition/Competition

"My Christmas and New Year's tales"

December 20 - January 21

For the Christmas holidays, children of "Pour Kungur" (those in schools, Centers for disabled, cultural places, orfanages in Perm region, as well as children adopted in Perm region and living all around the world) and children of our schools and partner associations in France, draw on the theme of their favorite Christmas and New Year tales.

Joint exhibitions will be held online but also in schools, libraries, EHPAD, Centers for the disabled, health centers and other places, in France and Russia ... To Share our cultures but also to bring joy and warmth during these holidays at the end and beginning of the year!

SEPTEMBER 2020

You can meet us during the next "Book Days" in Gargilesse (Journées du livre à Gargilesse) , on 26 and 27 September.

Drawings made by Russian children on the theme of Sergei Essenin, Alexander Pushkin, and Ivan Krylov will be exhibited.

With pleasure , "Pour Kungur" will join the association PPDI and its editions Natania (bilingual : franco-Russian), which supports young artists working on models and illustrations of books.

You will discover editorial lines about language teaching, culture and leisure.

We will introduce you, among other things, the "Fables by Ivan Krylov" in 2 volumes, richly illustrated, accompanied by their phonetic transcription and translation, as well as the collections of jokes "Russian humor, special look" and "Russian humor 100 (without) jokes, festive look" by Natalia Gigounova - Komarova .

The books will be in favor of the 2 associations, in equal shares.

Thank you to all those who came to the GargilesseBand show on August 22th,

(as usual, for the benefit of "for Kungur").

I would like to warmly thank the russian spokesperson of the Association, the psychotherapist and writer from Perm, Yuri Vaguin, as well as the director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris, Konstantin Volkov, for being our guests .

"Pour Kungur" and the GargilesseBand were happy to participate in the" day of artists in the street " on August 9 in Gargilesse...with a Russian handicraft stand, exhibitions of Nadège's photos, Clemence's drawings and those done by Russian children about Sergei Essenin,... but also a children's workshop and a bar.

Essenine Exhibition

You can see online the exhibition / contest of drawings on the subject of poems and texts by Sergei Essenin, made by children of the Perm region (Russia), in collaboration with the Kungur library, as part of the translation contest organized by the Association "Teremok" and Pushkin Center in Nancy, with the support of the Russian Center for science and culture in Paris.

If you want to participate in the translation contest, you have until May 15!

MARCH 2020

"The great Victory for peace in the world"

"Pour Kungur" is very proud to participate in the organization of the exhibition : "The great Victory for peace in the world" , from march 2th to march 31th, with and in the Centre of Russia for science and culture in Paris ( 61 rue boissiere, 75116 Paris - metro Vicor Hugo).

The exhibited drawings are made by children from Perm region, and by children adopted in Russia and now living in the world.

A selection of 35 of these drawings was chosen to be installed at Unesco on March 11, while Hélène Texier was invited to the Round table “women for Peace", organized by Julia Benetti (CID-Unesco partner) and Marietta Blantchev ( President of the Unesco Community Association), in order to present our association.
