Ashbourne Swimmer Daniel Margiotta Comes First in 3rd Junior Grand Prix

On Sunday the 7th of November Ashbourne's team of young swimmers returned for the final round of the Derventio Excel Junior Grand Prix gala held at Alfreton Leisure Centre - and what a way to finish it with Ashbourne’s very own Daniel Margiotta (10) coming first in the 10 /11 years 100m breaststroke event. With an excellent swim Daniel also took five seconds off his own personal best time.

We are supporting Ashbourne Rotary Club's Shoebox appeal.
Please donate to children around the World this Christmas!

Ashbourne Rotary Club, in conjunction with Teams4U are collecting shoeboxes filled with small gifts, toiletries etc for children in parts of the world where they would otherwise receive nothing at Christmas. Here’s a link, if you need any more information about our Charity Partner in the shoebox campaign: https://teams4u.com

Boxes are filled for age groups, 3-5, 6-11 and 12+ years with such things as toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair accessories, socks, underwear along with treats such as toys, games and sweets.

There is a guide showing how to complete a shoebox gift here: Shoebox Guide - Teams4u
