Swimming galas

Swimming galas are an exciting and important part of life at Ashbourne & District Swimming Club. They give our swimmers the chance to put their training into practice, challenge themselves, and experience the thrill of friendly competition.

Whether taking part in their first gala or competing regularly as part of a team, swimmers benefit from developing confidence, improving their technique, and tracking their progress through personal best times. Galas also provide a fantastic opportunity to represent the club, support teammates, and build lasting friendships.

We aim to offer a variety of gala opportunities throughout the year, from relaxed, introductory events to more competitive meets. Whatever the level, our focus is always on enjoyment, encouragement, and helping every swimmer reach their full potential.

Above all, we want every swimmer to feel proud of their achievements, enjoy the experience, and have fun along the way.
