On Thursday 8/11 Packman left for Wisconsin and Brian arrived from Wisconsin. It was sad to see Packman leave- I enjoyed our time together immensely. Brian, now Limey due to showing up in a terrific combination of a lime green shirt and hat, and I hiked out of Hanover and into the New Hampshire woods. We're now at the Moose Mountain Shelter after an 11 mile hike. Everything went well, except Limey did say he was surprised by the difficulty of the hike after a couple 1000 foot climbs today. In three days we'll be going up Mount Moosilauke, almost 4000 feet. Oh boy!
