Back to La Crosse

I'm at mile 470. As many know, I often travel to St Louis to visit family and it is a good day's drive. The distance is 451 miles according to Google maps. So I figure that I've walked to St Louis once and am now heading back to La Crosse. Once I reach La Crosse, I'll have to turn around and go back and forth again, then walk almost to St Louis a third time coming up only 66 miles short to do the mileage of the AT. Whew, maybe I better think this through again!

Had a nice rest day in Damascus and now ready and eager to start hiking again.
