2013-July-21:

I haven't updated my site in far too long. So here are a few things I have been working on these past few months:

"I Miss You"(partial image shown here)A visitor to my site put in a request for an ambigram greeting card, "I miss you tons." I had a little difficulty with this one, and it wouldn't play nice when I tried turning it upside-down into a rotational ambigram. So instead, I turned it into a bilateral (mirror image) ambigram. On completing the design and the transaction, I shipped her the greeting cards she ordered -- one of her request and one of a design I already had -- along with a Mystery Bonus Item. Since then, I have removed the word "tons" and added the easier-to-read "I miss you" design to my stock of ready-made greeting card designs. Two versions are available: yellow (or other color of your choice) gradient oval background, and 'man waving goodbye through window as car drives away.'

"Be Courageous and STRONG, For Jehovah Your God Is With You" -- Joshua 1:9 (Year Text for 2013)

(partial image shown here)

This design is available in all Scripture Art and Greeting Card formats, including small and large laminated bookmarks with either 2013 weekly Bible reading schedule or generic descriptive paragraph on reverse. Ribbon tassel included at no extra charge, either "random color" or list your first and second choices of preferred color. (I'll try to match your color request, depending on ribbon inventory in stock.)

I actually completed the design in January of this year, but forgot to post it to my website until half the year was already gone. I guess I've been slacking... or just plain busy with every-day life.

Do you have a favorite scripture that you'd like to see turned into art? Send me a request and I'll see what I can do with it.

"Grace" (partial image shown here)A Word Art/ Name Art design from an email request I received, completed today. He asked if I could make it look like it might not be an ambigram at first glance. I like challenges, so I changed up the letter ratio from the usual one-to-one style of ambigrams that are sometimes too easy to make.

"Ambigrams Revealed"by Nikita Prokhorov

Available for purchase at Ambigrams Revealed website.

I am a published artist! -- Two of my designs are in the Gallery in this book by an ambigram artist friend of mine. "Let It Snow" and "Wilfred/ Cynthia" were each winning entries in Ambigram.com's regularly featured "Ambigram Challenge," so I submitted them and a few other designs when I received the call/ email from Nikita inviting ambigram artists worldwide to contribute their work toward the making of this book.
