Quechee Gorge VT and Portsmouth NH

Very woody driving today, the best so far. Packed up camp (was just a little damp out still), started out with some fog but it quickly lifted. We went through the Adirondacks, then Vermont and then into New Hampshire and every part of the drive was just filled with trees. Only a few were changing colors though, can't even image what it will look like in a few weeks. Breakfast at a cute town (place with the mural in the background), lunch closer to our stopping point about 6 hours later. One very scenic stop overlooking Quechee Gorge in Vermont. Didn't make it to Portland, ME which was our original plan, but ended up in Portsmouth, NH. Did a little laundry, showered and walked into town. On the walk we passed those cape cod style houses, then got to the little town with cute shops and lots of restaurants serving fresh fish. I had the Sea Scallops Casserole, Kevin had shrimp & sea scallops, both were delish and the view of the harbor, at high tide and then sunset was wonderful.
