Our Adventure Begins!
Well today started off with Kim working until 2pm and I had to drop off Selah at my Mom and Fred's. On my way home from their house, I for my first time ever, saw someone on 355 southbound on a BMW R1200 GS Adventure dressed and loaded up looking like he was heading somewhere. This got me ready to hit the road! Finished packing the bike and waited for Kim to get home.
She got home right on schedule and we left right on schedule 3pm. 100 miles later started getting a bit sore so we stopped at a rest area for about 20 mins and stretched. Another 63 miles and we reached our planned stop for the day in Davenport Iowa at the Staybridge Suites. It was 6pm. By the way, it was beautiful weather 70's and sunny with no wind. Thats good because were expecting driving through rain tomorrow.
Today's driving time 2 hrs 28 mins and 163 miles.
