A Brief Introduction to the 501st

It may seem odd to have such a good offering from the venerable 501st Tactical Tampa when this is a group that doesn't even wear black on their official web site. But there are many reasons for this. We will try to touch on some of those reasons, but first we need to look at what they actually do.

They are, for the most part, a group of guys who have gotten together for a unique viewpoint on the world and the universe around them. Some of the guys are combat veterans and others are civilians with combat experience. There are also former members who had no combat experience at all, which is another amazing thing about the 501st.

One thing that most of the people in the 501st Tactical Tampa have in common is their love of martial arts. For these guys, fighting or any physical activity is fun. It brings out their creative side and creates a sense of camaraderie that is difficult to achieve elsewhere.

One of the most exciting things about the 501st is that they only hold a handful of classes per year. Each of these classes are called groups and they are usually made up of two or three people. They try to focus their attention on working with other people in small groups, doing things together and enjoying themselves.

This is why the curriculum in their classes is so fun. They try to keep it as diverse as possible. One of the groups I attended had a lot of variety in one class. It focused on learning about other cultures, how to use the local dialects and other tricks to make learning more interesting.

Another thing that makes this kind of program interesting is that each of the 501st's groups have been approved by the US Military. These groups are formally recognized by the military and they carry the full cachet of being part of an official force that has fought for this country. While they might not dress in battle attire or go into battle, they are part of a major force that is proud of their uniform and their contributions to our country.

The same goes for the 501st with their good natured humor and being true to themselves. I saw several folks in the many classes I attended who were coming out of military service who clearly did not look like members of a jolly brigade. But when the classes started with something along the lines of "Don't hit your enemy in the nose"Don't give him a chokeslam," they were able to laugh and get it out of their system.

The people who join the 501st are not only serious about their goals, but they are also willing to share their knowledge with others. In fact, you will often find them hanging out and training in the way of old-fashioned self-defense. And this is a very important part of their curriculum because if anything should happen to them, their training is still relevant.

They have been doing basic military training for years and know how to survive in that situation. If there ever was a time for them to learn to be on their own and defend themselves, it is now. They are as comfortable as anyone else defending themselves against a potential attacker or protecting their family if that should be the next course of action.

Another way in which this group can be useful to you is that they can help you realize that Martial Arts can be fun and if you do it with a group, it can be a really good experience. It does not have to be too formal, and they can help you find ways to relax and have fun. They can help you open up and learn more about yourself and that is what makes it so much fun.
